I’ve heard lots. But they don’t put it that way.
It might be best to take it up with them.

Also there is a risk of distorting their stances by not putting it the way that they do. It’s like the game of telephone; someone’s interpretation of someone else’s interpretation might not be descriptive of the actual stance that got a discussion started.

I think we all know exactly why. The 20th Century was an amazing century because basically the peasant class became educated. In my grandmother’s time they had child labor. High School graduation was a distinction. Then it was routine. College became routine. Grad school widespread.
Peasants graduated to a " middle class," existence. Never before in human history( geological).
To me that’s the context of what you describe. Alternate Facts are easily sold today. The methods of dumbing down are arguably more effective today than with the uneducated generations preceding us.
It’s relentless. And " fake news" whether you love the campaign or hate it, is participation at the highest level.
In a pandemic, we are exponentially more vulnerable. All of us. People irrationally stampede just like animals do.

People are considering their neighbors
I certainly hops so. But the expression “People are going to use the info they have to make the best decision for them” doesn’t express that sentiment
people need to eat and pay their mortgage.
Who is not eating? Who is defaulting? Who is ineligible for unemployment compensation and Federal support?
It’s perfectly legitimate to question the methods that have been used by governments. A
Sure. But not all questions are well-reasoned.
.

Well you tell me sloancaprice, what the goals of the lockdown were?

I’m wondering who thinks that if they make everyone else remain indoors a little longer, THEN go outside the virus will be gone. Can you tell me who thinks that?
Likewise. That alleged stance has been repeated scores of time with no attribution to any specific person or set of people. Just some annonymous “they.” Past request for attribution have gone unanswered. Thus far it has largely been unsubstantiated in discussion.

Well there ya go!

Nobody must think that after all.

Now join me in calling for an end to the lockdown @sloancaprice!

sloancaprice . . .
So no one thinks that?
According to you apparently not.

Now do you want to join me in calling for an end to the lockdown?

If so great.

If not why not?

You will have to look and draw your own conclusions.

Are you going to join me in a call for an end to the lockdown @sloancaprice?

I think you’ve gotten a pretty good sample of the level of support the claim has gotten in the other threads over the past few weeks. I’m as optimistic about seeing substantiation here as I was in the other threads. So, good luck with that!

Go ahead ThinkingSapien.

You can join me in the call to end the lockdown right?

エラー
エラー is the phonetic representation of the english word “error” and not an actual translation into Japanese.

エ= e
ラ=ra
The last character just draws out the sylabal that precedes it. While it’s an english word there are a number of them recognized by someone that speaks Japanese.

Usually when you see that character set used that is composed of hard angles it is to represent a foreign word (Katakana). For native Japanese words either hirigana (curly symbols) or kanji (chinese symbols) will be used. For example, 間違い.

With Japanese being highly contextual machine translations might be able to give you a hint of what is being said. But since machines dont understand context reliance on the machine translations alone isn’t suggested. To make things even more challenging a passive tone of voice is often used.

Got it? / ¿わかりますか?

Best of luck in your studies!

I think we all know exactly why. The 20th Century was an amazing century because basically the peasant class became educated.
I think it was technology that freed up the peasant class from mostly working on farms so that they could be educated and pursue new forms of wealth production.

And i think it was capitalism and the industrial revolution within Christendom that created that technology which then spread to the world.
