I have to admit - (I suppose this is progress? )
That at around midnight 2 days ago, soaking my radiated butt in the tub, I decided it was OK, to ask God for an absolute miraculous recovery. My wife and kids need me!
I did not feel selfish and while I was at it I asked the Holy Family and any angels interested to pray with me for the same thing!
OK - I begged - like a man with a death sentence…but I meant it from the bottom of my heart!
This is something I’ve avoided doing since HE has the prerogative to just say, “NO”
Dear Tim it is in Gods hands indeed,however He has taught us through Jesus to pray.It is not selfish to ask for healing to raise your family.We are all praying for Gods mercy and ask Him to heal you.
Remain strong.I admore and respect you fo ryour strength of faith and courage.You are an inspiration to us all.God bless xx
A Novena Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Sacred Heart of Jesus, we know that there is but one thing impossible to You: to be without pity for those who are in suffering or distress. Look down on us, we beg of You and grant us the grace which we humbly and earnestly implore, through the Immaculate Heart of Your most sorrowful Mother to whom You confided us as her children, and whose prayers are all powerful with You. Amen.
Almighty and eternal God, healer of those who trust in you,
through the intercession of St. Peregrine, hear my prayer for (TIM).
In your tender mercy, restore him to bodily health
that he may give you thanks, praise your name,
and proclaim your wondrous love to all.
I ask this through Christ your Son, our Lord.

Healing Novena
To Christ the Great Physician
We know that there is one physician:
Both flesh and spirit
uncreated, yet born
God in man
True life in death
From both Mary and From God
Subject to suffering and then impassible
Jesus Christ our Lord!
We ask O Great Physician, for spiritual, physical, and emotional healing, especially my intention of TIM.
You of both flesh and spirit
May we spend all of our days in your healing presence
You the eternal Son born for us
Grant us the healing benefits of your Incarnation, Death, and Resurrection
You who are true God and true man
Grant us your true life in the midst of death
You, the true life in death
Grant us to follow your example and that of your Blessed Mother
You, from both Mary and from God
May our suffering be for our growth; free us, we pray, from that which we cannot bear
We ask You, O God the Word who became man to suffer
We ask you to grant us this healing if it brings us closer to you,
Jesus Christ our Lord
…but he needs to hear it from you…talk to Him and talk to Him often… ask for healing in Jesus’ name and then be prepared for a miracle…I don’t know why doctors insist on putting limits on us- when they don’t know- you could out live them! Only God knows when it is your time and you won’t go one minute before He calls you home…This has been a rough year for my sister too… a year ago doctors in Minneapolis gave her very little hope- they said she was too fragile for chemo and radiation(she’s had 4 heart attacks and a lobe of her lung removed from lung cancer amd weighed only 95 lbs-she’s 5’ 7…she had a stage three tumor in her throat that the doctors said would cut off her air in weeks unless they went in and took everything out-which would have left her with no voice and a hole in her neck and very little hope for the future because they said it always goes to the lymph nodes…they said they really didn’t see any options for her…I started many people praying for her and it came to me that she needed to drink Holy water-she thought I was nuts-but took spring water over to the Preist and he blessed it…her daughter found a dr at Vanderbilt in Nashville and took her down there to live with her- they put in a feeding tube to try to keep her weight on and keep her nutrition up and they started her on a greatly reduced round of chemo to try to shrink the tumor enough to remove it without maiming her… and then they were going start radiation…my sister was extremely afraid of getting the radiation-and we knew the tumor was shrinking because her voice was getting better…so just before the radiation was supposed to begin- she asked her Dr if they could see if the tumor was small enough to go in and just remove it and perhaps skip the radiation… so they made the appointment with the radiologist to see what he said and he came in the room and said he wouldn’t know where to tell them to cut- the tumor was gone!!..thye did make her take a few doses of radiation- but nothing like they had planned…and her doctors are scratching their heads over this one-her wieght did get dangerously low79 lbs and it has taken her months to get it back to above 90 lbs- but last week her DR gave her a clean bill of health to go home and she got home today… they think it was the treatment-even though it was greatly limited- I’m sure it was the continuous prayer and Holy/blessed water she sipped on all the way down to Nashville that was the catalyst to this miracle…It can happen for you too… when I was the fulltime caregiver for my mother with alzheimers I bent God’s ear on a continous basis-still do…but I always knew I was running a race I couldn’t win with ((mom)))-when I asked God what do I do now?- what should I be doing?..He gave me-what I give you now…Living in the moment… it’s all any of us have here …make each one special and don’t waste one moment of your life- thinking about death…Love to you and your beautiful family- (((hugs)))) God Bless
