I really like the way Erdogan told Moscow and the others to prove their allegations if Turkey is buying oil, natural gas from Turkey, looks like Erdogan is one man that won’t and can’t be bullied after all we have seen in the past few days.
** Live Blog: Erdogan Rejects Putin’s Remarks As ‘Unacceptable’**
– Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said Russian President Vladimir Putin’s comments after he met in Moscow with French President Francois Hollande were “unacceptable.”
– The director of a weapons plant in Serbia has confirmed that at least two of the assault rifles used by Islamic militants during the Paris terrorist attacks on November 13 were manufactured by his company in the early 1990s.
– French President Francois Hollande has told a ceremony commemorating the victims of the November 13 terrorist attacks in Paris that “France will do everything to destroy the army of fanatics that committed these crimes.”
I’d like to see the subject explored myself. If it is not so, then those saying such things really should be seen as telling falsehoods.

Sputnik even posted the picture on the right though they may have pulled it now that sort of affirms the hare-brained scheme of many that ISIS is somehow an invention of others as the protesters carry an anti-Semitic banner in protests outside the Turkish embassy.

I really like the way Erdogan told
I like the way Putin points out…

Nonetheless, please stop and come up with your own approach.

The people of the world who are not drinking from the cup of propaganda served by CNN, The New York Times, The Washington Post et al… understand Israel is behind the destruction of Syria and have played Turkey to gain access to its borders. That is what they are expressing, although it is an ignorant way to do it, as in doing so they are holding responsible all the Jewish people and this is erroneous.

Downing a Turkish warplane over Syrian territory would qualify as aggression, Erdogan told CNN in response to a question on what would happen if a Turkish fighter jet were to stray into Syrian territory.sputniknews.com/military/20151127/1030838679/erdogan-su24-s400-syria-airspace-violation.html
Erdogan and his Western allies are really missing a very big point here. They don't have permission to even be in Syria and Russia does ! ergo Russia has the right to shoot down there planes if they violate Syrian airspace.

Various theories exist as to other parties that had a hand in the assassination. Many point fingers at the Syrian government and then-Syrian President Hafez al-Assad for having knowledge of the assassination attempt and for backing Shartouni.[27] Even after they kept pressuring him, Bachir refused to immediately give Israel peace.[28]
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bachir_Gemayel#Assassination
in 1982, Syrian agents assassinated Lebanese President Bachir Gemayel (who was helped to power by the Israelis during the 1982 Lebanon War).[173] Jumblatt and Gemayel had resisted Assad’s attempts to dominate Lebanon.[173] Assad caused the failure of the 1983 Lebanon–Israel agreement, and by proxy guerrilla warfare forced the Israeli Defense Forces to withdraw to southern Lebanon in 1985.[173] Terrorism against Palestinians and Jordanian targets during the mid-1980s thwarted the rapprochement between King Hussein of Jordan and the PLO, slowing Jordanian–Israeli cooperation in the West Bank.[173]

This is a Christian President that is spoken about, reportedly killed by the Assad regime of Syria. It’s a family dynasty and that is that.

Turks are not scared by Russian sanctions.
Istanbul is one of the world capitals of producers and traders.
Turkey is a European China and Turks are European Chinese.
Its interesting that their neighbours Bulgarians and Greeks blame the EU of all their troubles - but the Turks just work they work hard. Since the Ottoman Empire, the man is taught that work is good, work makes you noble. That is why Turkey prospers even out side of EU. Turks are the most diligent workers all over the Europe.
And economic sanctions will damage more Russian businesses than Turkish.Russia is important as a business partner, but not so much that they will not live without it.
But if the Turkey will start to check the quality of Russian business, cargo carriers, cargo services, then it will be very painful boomerang especially to Russian distribution business, including small businesses. Don’t forget that some districts of Istanbul literally russian-speaking.
Turks are certainly not beneficial to war with Russia, for the future is more profitable to be allies.
But Turkey can’t be scared by military threat. The army is strong enough and the strength and spirit, even in comparison with the Russian. Militaries not look bad in international military competitions.

Erdogan has lost his marbles and I am very concerned that Turkey is a part of NATO.

"This kind of an incident which may happen of course will further push us to take measures. … Of course it will be an aggression against our rights of sovereignty and it is a natural right of [Turkey] to protect those rights," Erdogan said.
That’s not ‘aggression’ or ‘sovereignty’ by any stretch of the imagination. ‘Sovereignty’ does not extend to another nation, nor does ‘aggression’ involve a nation defending it’s own sovereignty.

I don’t know whether to laugh or be extremely concerned. I would very much like to see Turkey kicked out of NATO, this is bad. If this ever did blow up, I would hope that every other NATO member would have the common sense not to back Turkey and morals to see that Turkey is acting recklessly and unjustly.

How exactly did Russia threaten Turkey, by this rotten, deliberate act, all of an alleged 17 seconds and 1.5 mile distance, in a loop of airspace that is quibbled over ,between Turkey and Syria, as to whose it is? They still do not know, for certain, if Russia were even in Turkish airspace, at all 1.5 miles of it.

What was Russia’s ‘defiant’, rotten deliberate challenging act? 🤷

They flew up through Syria and were turning to go back into Syria again to their airbase - what was it, especially as Turkey shot them down in Syria!

Scuse me! You got my post wrong! Turkey is the very wrong party in this incident! OK?

ISIS has massacred the Turkmen: cnsnews.com/news/article/lauretta-brown/un-isis-massacred-700-turkmen-including-women-children-elderly

Russia going after the Turkmen makes one wonder a bit on whose side are the factions over there on.

Besides that, it is well reported the Assad regime has a long history in Lebanon where Christian Presidents have been assassinated, see the above wikipedia articles above showing Syria is suspected in one if not both, no matter if one does not like “Western Secular” sources.

You did?

I value the understanding of males and females equally, the value judgement I make is on what is being stated. I don’t put more weight on a comment because it was made by a male. I hope you are not trying to degrade the value of pepipop’s comments by pointing out that she is a female. That’s being pretty desperate.
Finding an apology for a memory lapse potentially sexist and “desperate” shows an utter desperation to discredit disagreement with politically correct slurs.

It’s remarkable how little the left tolerates dissent.

This about sums the Syrian ‘civil’ conflict…
