So nothing but his own presumption. He came to the understanding. The fact that aid was released without the investigation should have cleared up his false presumption. The text messages they have from Sondland say specifically it was not a quid pro quo make it difficult to prove it was anything more than a personal presumption.

This is probably his real beef. He thinks he is the regular policy channel and didn’t like POTUS making decisions outside of him.

Aid was given 2 days after the gig was up. Unfortunately the crime was actually fully performed and( reported nationally 2 days) before he paid.
But yes that used to be a defense.

Might want to consider finding a candidate for 2020 that doesn’t have a 52T medicare plan…just in case the Shiff impeachment doesn’t pan out.

If Biden is innocent, he has nothing to worry about.

Remember. This anti-corruption campaign in Ukraine, was NOT initiated by President Trump. You know that. I know that. And everyone reading here knows that.

And Biden is the one who called off the Ukraine Government on his kid’s company. . . . Then publicly bragged about it.

The kid was an unmitigated disaster, having a lifetime history of bad decisions, drug abuse etc.

Then he gets a sweetheart deal with no experience to the tune of $80,000 a month or some such.

Nobody but the most gullible (or partisan), would assert this is “kosher”.
