Trump’s quid pro quo on this has been confirmed through multiple sources, including Trump’s admission itself. So, the congressional Pubs new counter is to say that even though this appears to be the case it’s not enough to warrant impeachment.

The public hearings set to begin next Wednesday should bring even more enlightenment to those who are unsure or even doubtful, but Trump’s hardcore base is not likely to be swayed by much of anything.

Metis1 showing people think there is a Ukraine quid pro quo from President Trump via links.

But . . .

What do you think IS “Trump’s quid pro quo”?

(And what do you think Biden’s Ukraine quid pro quo was too for that matter?)

Not interested, especially since one can rather easily look things up. However, if one only uses right-wing sources, …

Well, since the “whistleblower’s” lawyer outed CNN, ABC got caught spiking Epstein story, CBS fired the ABC whistleblower, and NBC has Matt Lauer problems I say reliable sources are hard to come by. Lol

The only thing they confirmed are their feelings and thoughts on the matter which unfortunately do not square with the actual facts.

I asked Metis1 . . .

(Bold added.)

Metis1’s reply?

What “right-wing source” or for that matter left-wing source would you suggest
looking up what Metis1 thinks?

Remember. I asked what YOU think IS “Trump’s quid pro quo”?

You seemed to have no difficulty talking about it a few posts ago (when it was undefined).

And while you are on the subject, I would also like to know what YOU THINK Biden’s Ukraine quid pro quo was too?

I’m not into playing into arguments but am interested in having serious discussions.

What I have seen repeatedly done by a few here is using two disingenuous tactics, with one of then what’s called “false equivalency” and the other what’s called “deflection”.

So, if I say “A”, someone comes back and says that Joe Schmoe (“B”) is just as guilty-- as if two wrongs make a right. Or if I say “A”, someone says “But what about C?”, thus deflecting the conversation from “A” onto something not mentioned.

At 74 years of age, I’m not into head-butting nor trying to inflate my ego, plus I’ve already mentioned why I left CAF for roughly a year. Trump’s actions simply are very incompatible with Catholic teachings. We’re based on Jesus’ “law of love”, not on Trump’s pit-bull antics.

Burisma and 2016 server. His personal election issues. Easily proven under a clear and convincing standard.

As much as you hate the what aboutisms’ you comment begs the question,The D ems are more closely aligned with the teaching of Christ?🤨

Well some people think the same thing about candidates who SUPPORT premeditated murder of innocent pre-born babies. (That’s be ALL the democrats in this context Metis1.)

Hopefully you or anyone else would not call such murder of innocents, “based on Jesus”. I wouldn’t either.

@Cathoholic, it’s been my impression the case for disliking Trump for not being christian like is based mostly on his external abrasive nature, which is sometimes childish. However, as long as the person is “presidential” or talks in a “dignified” outward manner they are more willing to look past the behind the scenes corruption or distasteful policies. More an appearance thing.

Certainly many of these politicians have done some downright distasteful things, but they do it with the proper professionalism and not in an embarrassing way.

I guess you’re right, refusing to lease apartments to black people is the christian thing to do.
