He compared the viral load, concentration of virus, between 100 incoming patients at the beginning of March and 100 incoming at the end of May and this was the result.
Clementi says also that this is happening in patients below and above 65.
It is as the virus were “ ageing” . His words : envejeciendo, becoming old.And remarks that it isn’t mutating but what seems to be adapting to its new host.
This is what happened in the 1918 epidemic as well. By the time the flu reached Australia well into the original outbreak, it was a less deadly strain of the original virus.

So there is hope this may be the case as Clementi describes.
I wasn’t really fully aware of how the Spanish flu had affected the world. It is like now we can sense the impact differently…
Is Australia doing all right now?

I was going to ask you about hospitalizations there, but then that wouldn’t matter much after all. It has been hitting hard anyway. Very heart wrenching.

We have dodged a bullet pretty much in Australia by the grace of God. 102 deaths and no deaths for 3 weeks. 138 active cases all but one, overseas repatriates who were in quarantine when diagnosed. 17 in hospitals. 2 in ICU. 2 on ventilators. We are yet to see whether there is an uptick now as a result of the black lives matter protests last week. Life of opening up is just about to start phase 3. What about in Argentina?

When somebody is doing all right it is a breath of fresh air for all. It is hope so I am deeply glad for you all.
When some place is not, it is like our heart beats for them too…
Here cases are increasing but basically confined to specific areas in Buenos Aires and surroundings as to basically a couple of major capital cities of a couple of provinces. But then ,that is right now.
We are at 28.764 infected,785 persons deceased and 8.743 recovered.
Testing has been low for your average, 4877 per million inhabitants.
We haven’t reached our peak yet after over 100 days under strict lockdown. Only out for essentials.
Some outings for a walk and more openings are given depending on the governors and mayors considering active cases and the lapse of none. Then the town or province changes into a less restrictive phase. There is much restriction of movement from one town to another , much more so from one province to another.
It is difficult …
In my town close by ,we were case free until yesterday. Now there are two cases. I learnt about it today.
