Christ told us we could not serve God and Mamon …We all have to choose…I am choosing GodNo,you choose to view him through faulty secularized eyes.Where truth is relative-right?

Bingo.Would it be 3 identical numbers?
Abortion is THE issue. The deliberate state sanctioned murder of pre-born children to solve personal problems supercedes ALL else. All other issues become supremely irrelevant once this "choice"is supported. One effectively disqualifies oneself from further consideration. It is akin to saying other than the slaughter of 6 million Jews and other innocents Naziism wasn’t all bad.I can’t believe that you have the guff to label others who defend life as haters. You should be ashamed of yourself.Do you think it would be better if he got rid of the medal? And do you think that she won’t
protect him?
Abortion is ONE issue, there are many issues
Social justice being one of them.HOWEVER:
If you feel that this is a ministry that you are called to I don’t think it serves your ministry to insult our president.
I am confused by your comments. It is a shame that the level is at 25% but to say it is because someone was not charitable leads me to wonder if they had faith because your faith should not be based on someone being charitable. Staying in the church sould not be effected by that don’t you think?I heard Pat Buchanan say that in the fifties 75 percent of Catholics attended Mass,
but now that’s down to 25 percent. I attribute that to the lack of charity that some
Catholics have no shame in displaying.
. The best thing about the Catholic Church is that it embraces ALL people.
Sorry Tracy; both Kerry Kennedy and Maria Shriver are well-known as pro-choice; and that’s unacceptable as an ambassador to the Vatican. I’m not quite sure what a “tireless” Catholic is, but Maria Shriver is widely quoted as saying she is indeed a “cafeteria Catholic” - and I believe the ambassador should be anything but that. Let’s put the Kennedys aside as possibilities - they have done absolutely nothing to merit consideration. There are plenty of Catholics who are faithful to the Church’s teachings who would be fine ambassadors.I don’t think that Caroline is especially suited to being an Ambassador to the Vatican, but Kerry Kennedy might be. And the fact is that Mrs Shriver is one of the most tireless Catholics that I have ever experienced.
Judging an entire family on the few who are celebrities isn’t fair in my opinion.
Although it’s interesting to think of who a good ambassador would be for the Vatican, since
it’s not really a place that’s known for being at odds with America I can’t see the need of an Ambassador there anyway.
Caroline would do well as an Ambassador to Ireland.
ahh yes , The church of Massachusetts…now that explains it…they formed their on version of church. :hypno:I have never understood that acceptability of a diplomat depended on the diplomat having the same religious values as the state to which he or she was being sent. The Kennedy family has a tremendous amount of influence with the Church in Massachusetts. Somehow I doubt if Caroline would be so quickly turned away.

You mean the way some here have been SO respectful of Bush?Do you think it would be better if he got rid of the medal? And do you think that she won’t
protect him?
