When you attack the messenger and NOT the message…I don’t see how you can make that statement? As I said. I dislike ideologues.

A researcher uses Wikipedia as a source?Well here is the fruit of one of the most famous and glaring examples of breitbart’s “journalism”.

I was responding to a question related examples of false stories attributed to Breitbart. Why you attack the messenger and NOT the message…I don’t see how you can make that statement?![]()
I’m not a researcher, well a political researcher.A researcher uses Wikipedia as a source?
Did she make those statements?I was responding to a question related examples of false stories attributed to Breitbart.
It is so well understood that Breitbart did a smear campaign on this woman.Did she make those statements?
Yeppers. . . . Can I use yeppers here?
IMO Reading comprehension is an acquired skill - the little curl-cue thinggie ?] means I asked a question. It is so well understood that Breitbart did a smear campaign on this woman.
Really? You are going to defend that whole mess? If so, going back and forth with you is even less worthwhile than I first suspected. You are simply not being honest to if you are playing the ideologue here. Wait, actually you would be playing the ideologue. . .
The video released by Breitbart was a portion of her speech without the context when viewed by the statement directly before and after this snippet it was clear that she did not make a racist statement.IMO Reading comprehension is an acquired skill - the little curl-cue thinggie ?] means I asked a question.

Take a statement from you, me, Romney, Obama, Christ Himself- without the context the individual can be made to say anything and that is what Breitbart did to Sherrod.
Do you believe that Sherrod made a racist statement?
I can’t believe I’m spending my time doing this.
There were no freakin’ HALF TRUTHS!! Breitbart did purposeful a smear campaign. So she did make those statements?
It would seem by that… that there are HALF TRUTHS on BOTH SIDES?![]()
So you are saying she didn’t make those statements? There were no freakin’ HALF TRUTHS!!
I don’t make opinions on things I don’t know. You are not going to acknowledge that?
You are spending your time on THIS because you won’t address: This.I can’t believe I’m spending my time doing this.
AND this:Only Around 2% of Donations Reportable
That is what your initial attack comprised of.The campaign said that just over 1.8 million people made donations to the campaign last month. According to the campaign, over 500k of these were brand-new donors, having neither given in 2008 nor 2012. 98% of contributions were under the reporting threshold of $250. Of these, the average contribution was $53
OK, you are simply being an ideologue. I should have known better- my mistake. So you are saying she didn’t make those statements?
How was he able to make the video , if she didn’t?

I know all about that one. Breitbart released a tape that was not complete and Ms Sherrod redeemed herself later in the tape. Both Breitbart and O’Reilly acknowledged they had not seen the entire tape when it was first published and they apologized. This is far more than the MSM has done with respect to the DOCTORED tapes by the various alphabet soup channels.Well here is the fruit of one of the most famous and glaring examples of breitbart’s “journalism”.

I have unfortunately flushed an hour of my life down the proverbial toilet.
I’m sorry you didn’t learn something in that hour - But I have no control over what you choose.OK, you are simply being an ideologue. I should have known better- my mistake.

Further it was the OBAMA ADMINISTRATION that fired Ms Sherrod WITHOUT getting her side of the story. No apologies there?
What say you about the DOCTORED tapes from the MSM ringil? I guess when the Left does it, that’s ok. You know being on the Left means never having to say you’re sorry.
I do find it laughable that you don’t like idealogues…I think you should modify this to say you don’t like idealogues UNLESS they agree with you.

Didn’t read the Wikipedia story but have learned to take their info with a grain of salt. I followed Breitbart from the beginning and even heard his interview with Hugh Hewitt the afternoon of his totally unexpected death. Breitbart was an amazing guy, started out on the far Left and unlike some grew upHmmm… Sounds like wikipedia was only telling HALF TRUTHS…who’d thunk it?
Thank you for the rest of the story. I first became aware of Breitbart because of the Mr Zimmerman case. It was the ONLY source that questioned what was printed, at that time.Didn’t read the Wikipedia story but have learned to take their info with a grain of salt. I followed Breitbart from the beginning and even heard his interview with Hugh Hewitt the afternoon of his totally unexpected death. Breitbart was an amazing guy, started out on the far Left and unlike some grew up. His take down of ACORN was a shot across the bow. He was a journalist in the tradition of Woodward and Bernstein back when they WERE investigative journalists.
He was blindsided by the Sherrod story. Not sure if they determined he was set up or if he got a little careless but he was sent a portion of a tape where Ms Sherrod sounded VERY racist. Later in the tape she did redeem herself but the real story was how the folks in the audience hooted, howled and cheered when she said she had specifically treated a white farmer differently. That’s the scandal, that racism seems to only go one way. At any rate the tape was published and the Obama administration as usual threw Ms Sherrod under the bus without getting her side of the story.
Later when the rest of the tape surfaced both Breitbart and O’Reilly apologized for showing what they thought was the entire statement. There was ZERO evidence that they were deliberately targeting Ms Sherrod. She was basically an unknown. The story was with respect to the racist approach to some of these government programs. Ms Sherrod was simply a messenger and the racist portion of her message was applauded. Really shows how far we’ve come since the Jim Crow days
Subsequently and previously, Breitbart’s exposes were never debunked or in contrast to the network stories on Zimmerman, Romney, etc were never deliberately doctored. I have found Breitbart to be a credible source. Yes it is Right leaning and I understand they are not running around looking for stories to demonize Tea Party members as do the MSM. But facts are pesky things. When ringil finds a few in the morass of the MSM I’ll be glad to consider them.
