Blessed to start the day with our Lord and our very wonderful Church celebrating the transcendent Holy Mass with EWTN, prayed the Morning Offering and other daily prayers with my amazing son who is 13 years old and who is now playing “Roblox Speed Run” with his best friend online, and they’re laughing and having a blast! Blessed to be reading and enjoying CA! I am looking forward to choir practice at 4pm and Mass at 5pm. I am so happy to be getting a ride to bring lots of special items, recently given to me by friends who closed their gorgeous B&B, to donate to our upcoming parish Winter Wonderland fundraiser that is being held on Nov. 24th at St. Mary’s!
 
Well, making the best of my night offshore on this iron island I work on. Off for the night, so its Catholic Answers Forum, listening to Journey…reminiscing. Later I will go to a nice spot on the platform and pray the rosary. Now if I were home…patio and fire pit with family and friends, probably a glass of Mountain Valley Red and a cool smoke of a nice aromatic blend out my pipe. Life is wonderful. Enjoy all and peace be with all.

The party 😮 Was well over 130 people in attendance, all of them relatives from Africa except for us. There was a protocol for greeting elders I botched very badly shaking their hands and introducing myself much to their horror while other folks practically genuflected.🤦‍♀️
 
Mass, livestock, nurseries, home and watching a series on all the Popes soon
 
oilrig? A friend of mine had the job of circling the oil rigs in a boat, to save anyone that fell off, before the sharks got them.

just got back from mass !
Just found out the the priest has replaced me as an alter server with 2 other people at my church who have just received holy communion !
Kind of annoyed about it kind of relieved that i depot have to serve again
 
Hey Sally, what is up with that? Did he give you any explanation? I’m sure his intentions are good, I just wish he would have been more communicative about them. How did he go about telling you?

Good morning, I am on a floating production facility. The rig does the actual drilling of the well and once the well is ready to produce the rig moves on to another location and replaced with the existing producing plant. Hope all are well. Peace be with you
 
Today the Cathedral in Philadelphia is having the solemn Mass to install the tomb of St. Katherine Drexel there, and I am hoping to go to that and then later to the kick-off of my local parish’s 40 Hours Devotion.

I visited St. Katherine Drexel’s tomb a couple of times when it was out in the Philadelphia suburbs where the Sisters used to run a school. It was a nice little shrine, but the order sold the property last year, so St. Katherine’s remains are being moved. I will miss having the “private time” with her, but many more pilgrims will be able to visit her tomb in the city, just like they visit St. John Neumann’s whose tomb is already in the city at his own shrine.

Same! Though I’m still writing my paper… and I need to go grocery shopping.
 
Plans for today:

Go to mass and hope my children behave in a manner worthy of donut/kolache breakfast. Be very excited for a homily on today’s Gospel because my preread leaves me needing some clarity.

Hit up the hobby store to get what I need to make a rosary for my friend who just had her tubes tied against her wishes upon the birth of her third child. Sweet baby makes them a family of five and I want to use letter beads to spell their names for the decades.

Finish reading my friend’s manuscript. I’m super flattered he wanted my (name removed by moderator)ut and its actually one of the best books I’ve read of that genre but I read so slow in this season of life.

They did! It’s been a few Sundays since we had donutworthy mass behavior. The three year old kept blowing it for everyone. A newly discovered tip: if their shoes are a size or two too big(accident) it really slows down the wiggles. They don’t want their shoes to fall off.

Haha! It went “okay”. I’m so clumsy and I fell once. My whole body hurts. It’s way more physical than I thought it would be 🤣 I don’t expect you’ll be seeing me on tv anytime soon 😆
