For a simple life in my retirement, giving me the time I’ve needed to be closer to God.

I’m thankful for the negative test result my wife had in her test today.

Thankful for my family Faith in our Lord the Eucharist and His precious blood.

I prayed to God this morning for guidance in everything I say and do…and when a circumstance arose…His guidance was with me because I remained SILENT and felt so blessed! It was an emotional experience and after praying my Rosary I feel good.
😌

My son turned 19 today! He has had many physical and medical problems over these 19 years and the past year has been the biggest struggle. Yesterday he had a test done that shows improvement and it allows him eat a little (he has been using a feeding tube). He will eat birthday cake tonight! Lots of prayers have been said for this guy.

Its been a good day but had some trouble this morning when I didn’t pray my rosary last night. But still thankful for life, love and happiness and the love of our Lord for me and others.

I had a problem with anxiety last night…prayed about it…I have been a strong, assertive woman all my life but lately I have been suffering…I am thankful for God’s guidance and love…

I’m thankful for the sacrament of reconciliation, for the ten priests that took confession, and for the parishioners that showed up for confession after the penance service.

Wish the parish I go to had that many priests to give the sacrament of confession and absolution.

I’m grateful that today is the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
Through her apparitions to St. Juan Diego and the miraculous
tilma, the Blessed Mother has led countless souls to Jesus.

Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mother of the Americas, pray for us.

For the retreat I had last week. For the silence, the holy mass daily, helpful homilies, kind hospitality, for the beautiful adoration chapel, for the garden you could walk around in, for the rest needed, for the yummy meals, for the grace to accept my new cross in life and try and live with it.

I’m thankful for the participants here on CAF, for my family members who have died, for my family members remaining alive, for Monsignor Henry F Ward (RIP), for my parents’ tenacity and love, for my friends, for good memories, for my eyes, bipap, oxygen, pneumatic leg pumps, and cochlear implants.
