For time today with Our Lord at Adoration and Mass. My faith journey has been rocky and lonely the past few weeks but time spent kneeling at his feet just took all that away. He really is Love.
I’m thankful for a warm home from the nasty weather outside. I’m thankful for the means to pay bills and provide for our family. I’m thankful that our kids are healthy. I’m thankful that I am developing a relationship with my brother.
I am thankful for “Chloe”…my adopted Chihuahua mix I adopted from the SPCA two years ago. After my older Chihuahua died three years ago, I thought I could survive without another dog…I was wrong! They are an inspiration in my life. I love Chihuahuas! She gives me the reason for getting up in the morning…going on morning walks…providing for her needs! She will be my last pup…and love her dearly! She provides me the warmth I need…she looks at me with approval after her meals…she gives me the closeness I need during bedtime…she has been Blessed by my Priest…I love her dearly…
I am Thankful for being able to get in my car and attend Mass on Saturday Evening. For coming home to Chloe who waits for me impatiently. For living in the USA and feeling SAFE! For knowing my days are numbered even more since I am over seventy.
For remembering to light a candle this morning at 5 AM because our priest requested we light a candle and pray for the abused victims by the Priests. For Praying my Rosary in a Peaceful home.
For waking up this morning and noticing the automatic candle shining on my Nativity scene. I went over to pray and then got a cup of hot coffee! Prayed my Rosary.
For getting my shopping done before the crowds starting arriving at the store.
For God’s guiding me home and being greeted by Chloe, my beloved pup!
