Never heard of Father Elijah, but then again there are many things/people I’ve never heard of. Just finished a memoir written by a plain old GI Joe in WW2. Now reading In Harm’s Way (about the USS Inidanapolis in WW2), a couple of good classics Silas Marner and Little Dorrit, John Gallico’s The Silent Miaou, and Authenticity by Father John J. Pasquini. Any opinions or thoughts about this last one? I’ve found some real gems in it but a little doubtful aobut some other parts.

Just started Graham Greene’s “The Power and the Glory.” Also purchased Tim O’Brien’s “The Things They Carried.”

Slowly making my way through the Holy Father’s “Jesus of Nazareth” again.

Good stuff. Stick with it. You may or may not know that the story is based on the very real anti-Catholic communist movement in Mexico in the early 1900s.

Greene wrote the story after reading about (Blessed) Fr. Miguel Pro, one of the many priests executed during that time.

My cousin gave me a copy of a book called A Travel Guide To Heaven by Anthony DeStefano… Have any of you read it and if so what did you think?

I’m reading a little bit of the ultra violence-------------------------- The Nibelungenlied. Not suitable for children. 😛
