Here at CAF I am not considered very ātraditionalā, but where I am from, my views would be considered ātraditionalā, so I figure I will answer anyway!
I have 2 jobs, so leisure time is something that I donāt have a lot of, but I am lucky that both of my jobs allow me to do things that I find āfunā. I work in the food service industry, as a food service director in a skilled nursing facility, and as a private chef. Cooking is one of my favorite things to do!!
I like spending time with family & friends, conversating, usually over coffee (I love my coffee!

) or a meal (Look up āfoodieā in the dictionary and youāll find my picture!

)
I read a lot, I love music of most kinds, and dabble a little in singing and playing guitar & piano, albeit, not very well! :blushing:
I love to stay on top of current events and the political arena and I love to learn!
I was working on my Masterās in theology & pastoral studies, but I had to stop due to some financial issues. Hoping to start up again in the fall.
Hubby & I hike & fish, and love to explore old cemetaries.
We watch & discuss the news, and a lot of documentaries (hubby is a science/history/military geek).
We also watch a lot of tv & movies- all kinds, and usually have a livly discussion about whatever we are watching!
I plant a small garden every year and enjoy ādiyā projects, crafting & writing.
I am involved a little bit in āparish lifeā, as I procure a lot of the food for our special events, and usually help out, as I have the proper certification required by our county.
A couple of years ago, I did the 19th Annotation of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius.
One of the things that the Jesuits are known for is āfinding God in all thingsā.
This attitude has helped my awareness of what activities are life-giving, and the ones that are draining, and have made me really consider how I want to spend my time now.:yup:
