Exactly, it was a sorry state Jews were in, emotions were probably running high and things were done without thought to consequence.
Ignorance…israel was always the aggressor originally. Today its harder to tell.Israel finally defends itself
if you call that sharing…Jerusalem is shared with the muslims - and it is in Israel - it is their land - not the muslim’s lands. Neither is the West Bank the muslim’s lands.
Absolutely I agree with you here. I think muslims have created problems in other areas.Give them a little and they want more - we see that in Pakistan/Kashmir/India, the Philippines, and all the ‘urban sensitive areas’ in Europe.
I agree. As for closing the borders - I would too. Sorry, but when you have people insisting on blowing themselves up just to kill them
- I am surprised they ever open the borders up to them! And go talk to Egypt - why no disgruntled behavior over a fellow muslim country closing the border to the Palestinians.
What? What muslim point of view? I am becoming a Catholic and I can assure you that I will continue feeling this way after I convert.I find this whole discussion rather hypocritical from a muslim point of view. But, it seems that is the way it is with them.
Yes, however I can assure you that when they were bombing the church in bethelehem (the one where jesus was supposedly born) they were very pleased with themselves.Exactly, it was a sorry state Jews were in, emotions were probably running high and things were done without thought to consequence.
I agree with you Josie, completely.Algebra, what I was trying to convey in my response to you, is that there is more than one way to insult our Lord and Saviour Jesus, it can be done with evil words and/or through evil actions. Muslims who attest that Jesus is one of their prophets yet commit terrorists attacks or simply ignore and support terrorists are no longer respecting Jesus who they purportedly love as a prophet. This is hypocritical of them. I am just trying to show that like those Zionists who hate Jesus, some Muslims show how they hate Jesus through what they do.
.
I read it.The article is about ****CHRISTIAN ****arab palestinians.
Not muslims
Islamist organizations, empowered by the indifference of the authorities, have begun to target Christian institutions and individuals in Gaza with increasing impunity. Intimidation, assault and the threat of kidnapping are now part of daily reality for Christians.
The trend became noticeable with a series of attacks on the Palestinian Bible Society’s “Teacher’s Bookshop” in Gaza City last year. The shop was the subject of a bomb attack in April 2007. Its owner, Rami Khader Ayyad, was abducted in broad daylight, and found dead on October 7, 2007.
Now, blame the Israelis for all of this!Over the following year, a series of bomb attacks on Christian institutions in Gaza took place. Particular attention was paid to places of education. The Rahabat al-Wardia school run by nuns in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood of Gaza City, and the American International School in Beit Lahiya were both bombed, most recently in May 2008. The Zahwa Rosary Sisters School and the El-Manara school, both in Gaza City, were also attacked this summer. The YMCA Library was bombed, as was the Commonwealth War Cemetery.
I agree the muslims dont help the situation, but the zionist jews aren’t as peaceful as you believe.I read it.
the problem the Christians are having are due to the jihadists not the Israelis.
.
So where is the religious freedom?
- as far as the Church being taxed - that is up to them. It is their country, they can do what they want.
We are going to have to agree to disagree at this point. I don’t see Israel as being the ‘bad guy’ here either.I agree the muslims dont help the situation, but the zionist jews aren’t as peaceful as you believe.
They are as respoonsible for the plight of the area as a whole as the muslims are.
I do not disagree.True.
However my time with islam has shown me that those places do not represent true islam.
True islam is a system that attempts to implement justice and morality.
It attempts to bring peace and prosperity to everyone (including non-muslims) living under it.
There are 2 problems with this utopic islamic state.
- like communism its impossible to implement, because its successful implementation rests on having good leadership.
- Its a manmade system, so it is flawed, and even though its goals are lofty there will never be a successful islamic state.
What are you on about? is that a definition from a dictionary. I gave you a much better source. A web-page of a zionist. Read that.As for ‘zionism’ - 1 a: the Jewish people : israel b: the Jewish homeland that is symbolic of Judaism or of Jewish national aspiration c: the ideal nation or society envisaged by Judaism.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zionist_political_violenceI have no problems with zionism. I still haven’t been shown the ‘zionists’ violence. Not one article.
I agree. In fact I am not sure we should aspire to make Holy Political States. In fact, I would say that the very fact you cannot have a perfect Islamic state on earth PROVES that Islam is not a true faith from God.
Agreed. In fact, the entire portion of Islam that dictates daily life is somewhat bothersome to me. I have no issue with a moral code, but at some point, are we not allowed to decide things for ourselves?I agree. In fact I am not sure we should aspire to make Holy Political States.
I like - render unto Ceaser…
The fact that islam encourages a political state to me is the first sign that something is desperately wrong with the religion.
Why is it that you hate your fellow Jews as hysterically as those Arabs roaring DEATH TO AMERICA! in my own downtown non-Arab city?Thank you. Not yet converted formally., still have 35 days to go.
The Virgin Mary …I am not muslim, married to a muslim.
I am to be baptised this coming Easter.
In my time I have come to love Islam deeply.
What about islam/muslims do you admire so much?
I love the commitment of muslims to their faith.
It is rare to find this commitment amongst christians and even more rare amongst jews.
I dont know about that, I find judaism to be even more tedious than islam.Agreed. In fact, the entire portion of Islam that dictates daily life is somewhat bothersome to me. I have no issue with a moral code, but at some point, are we not allowed to decide things for ourselves?
algebra, that article doesn’t make sense. The violence against the Christians coming from the muslims has been much greater. Israel only protected itself - and they even gave humanitarian aid. What are you on about? is that a definition from a dictionary. I gave you a much better source. A web-page of a zionist. Read that.
The link you provided to the Barnabas Aid page says that it is a christian organisation - not a jewish one, certainly not an israeli one or a zionist one.

Did your dad convert to Catholicism? I’m just curious. Why is it that you hate your fellow Jews as hysterically as those Arabs roaring DEATH TO AMERICA! in my own downtown non-Arab city?
I am of Jewish ancestry myself – my Daddys family is Jewish – and that kind of talk you have spewed forth above is one of the reasons we do not trust the Muslims.
I do not hate my fellow jews at all.Why is it that you hate your fellow Jews as hysterically as those Arabs roaring DEATH TO AMERICA! in my own downtown non-Arab city?
Well since it is daddy, you are not a jew. So you cannot use the pronoun “we”.I am of Jewish ancestry myself – my Daddys family is Jewish – and that kind of talk you have spewed forth above is one of the reasons we do not trust the Muslims.
