Amos 9:2
Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down:
Isaiah 59:2
2 but
your iniquities have made a separation
between you and your God,
and your sins have hidden his face from you
so that he does not hear.
Proverbs 15:29
29The LORD is far from the wicked,
but he hears the prayer of the righteous.
Neither one of these passages proves your claim that we are never separated from God or that God is in Hell.
While God is not present in hell to bless, He is present in hell to punish…
Ezra 8:22
…The hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek him; but his power and his wrath is against all them that forsake him.
Quote the full verse:
Ezra 8: 22 For I was ashamed to ask the king for a band of soldiers and horsemen to protect us against the enemy on our way, since we had told the king, “The hand of our God is for good on all who seek him, and the power of his wrath is against all who forsake him.”
This has nothing to do with God being in hell.
When we are talking about salvation we are talking about being saved from the rightful wrath that is to come…
Romans 5:9
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Romans 5: 9 Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God.
Nothing in this passage proves “we are never separated from God, not even in Hell; and that God is present in Hell,” as you claim.
Nahum 1:2
God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.
Nahum 1
1 An oracle concerning Nineveh. The book of the vision of Nahum of Elkosh.
God’s Wrath Against Nineveh
2 The LORD is a jealous and avenging God;
the LORD is avenging and wrathful;
the LORD takes vengeance on his adversaries
and keeps wrath for his enemies.
3 The LORD is slow to anger and great in power,
and the LORD will by no means clear the guilty.
His way is in whirlwind and storm,
and the clouds are the dust of his feet.
4 He rebukes the sea and makes it dry;
he dries up all the rivers;
Bashan and Carmel wither;
the bloom of Lebanon withers.
5 The mountains quake before him;
the hills melt;
the earth heaves before him,
the world and all who dwell in it.
6 Who can stand before his indignation?
Who can endure the heat of his anger?
His wrath is poured out like fire,
and the rocks are broken into pieces by him.
7 The LORD is good,
a stronghold in the day of trouble;
he knows those who take refuge in him.
8But with an overflowing flood
he will make a complete end of the adversaries,
and will pursue his enemies into darkness.
9What do you plot against the LORD?
He will make a complete end;
trouble will not rise up a second time.
10For they are like entangled thorns,
like drunkards as they drink;
** they are consumed like stubble fully dried.**
11From you came one
who plotted evil against the LORD,
a worthless counselor.
12Thus says the LORD,“Though they are at full strength and many,
they will be cut down and pass away.
Though I have afflicted you,
I will afflict you no more.
13And now I will break his yoke from off you
and will burst your bonds apart.”
14The LORD has given commandment about you:
“No more shall your name be perpetuated;
from the house of your gods I will cut off
the carved image and the metal image.
I will make your grave, for you are vile.”
15 Behold, upon the mountains, the feet of him
who brings good news,
who publishes peace!
Keep your feasts, O Judah;
fulfill your vows,
for never again shall the worthless pass through you;
he is utterly cut off.
Again, nothing in this passage proves “we are never separated from God, not even in Hell; and that God is present in Hell,” as you claim.
