He’s taking a break and said he plans to return but didn’t say how long he’d be gone or when he’d return.I wonder where this guy went. I kinda miss him.

That’s lovely . Thanks .I encountered my first and only European Robin at Lourdes. Since we don’t mind bad photos here, here’s a bad photo of it. In retrospect.I probably should have laid off the digital zoom.(Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)
An English friend from another forum tells me that in local lore, whenever one of these birds cross your path, it’s a loved one from Heaven coming to say ‘hello’. They remind him of his mum. Here’s a picture he took. I’m going to paint it someday. (Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)
Oh dear, I hope my comment didn’t upset you! That wasn’t my intent.I’ll try to do better.

Many in my family are artistic. My mom is an artist and has done paintings in oils, watercolors and pastels since her younger years. She’s 90 now and can no longer paint or draw (which frustrates and upsets her). Mom’s dad liked to draw and do calligraphy and used to make posters, etc. for his church. Not at all. You sound like you might have a bit of an art background. As an artist, I like constructive feedback.![]()
