Then I wish you the best, so then could you not speak to your dad today even without your Aunt there, with your evidence, if he dismisses you.
 
So abelin since it is only 11:10 am I take it your dad is at work?
 
Hi just checking in on your situation. It’s good you spoke with your aunt. I am confused…initially I thought you were a girl.You are male then?
 
Yikes–hopefully you will see this before you talk with him–

Don’t ask him if he’s having an affair, just tell him that you know. Dad, I am really sad and disappointed because you are having an affair… etc.

Since ya asked, I’m gonna tell ya. After a bit, you start seeing similarities in threads…the same word being misspelled, the same odd words, usually in a scenario that’s barely believable posted by someone who just registered a day or two earlier but obviously is savvy to the forum. And when the thread starts to loose steam, there’s always “a confession to make” or “one thing I haven’t told you”.

Although these threads don’t harm anyone, most on CAF are truly trying to help with their sincere reply’s and their insight is very helpful where it’s really needed and it can be a shame to waste their time.

I’m sure your not one of those people…just letting ya know they are out there :cool:

BTW, this is something that you should get advice from a priest or someone who’s trained in this area…not an internet forum. Without knowing you and your problem well, even good advice may make matters worse…perhaps to the point where it can’t be fixed.

This. It is the internet version of making crank phone calls, only it is more like a crank call for sympathy. Even if somebody hates Catholics, it takes a real jerk to do that.
 
I’ve finished speaking to my dad. It was really emotional he broke down in tears and admitted that he had been seeing her but for a much longer period of time than expected around 2 years. His reasons for the affair were that he had always loved her and so couldn’t be without her for much longer otherwise his soul would die. He also stated that if it wasn’t for her his life wouldn’t have been worth living any longer I don’t know if he was lying but his emotions were quite strong
