Religion? culture? history? morallity? etc.
What do you think the world would be like?
What would be different?

maybe pagan Rome would have continued. no pilgrims, missionaries, etc. Those of us who believe in and worship God would be Jewish.
Who do you mean? Christians?Surely! However; I hope those of us believers would stand firm in our faith…
I think it would be like paradise because if Jesus was never here it would mean that we wouldn’t have been in a fallen state and therefor wouldn’t have been in need of a Redeemer. So I think it would be the perfection that Adam and Eve experienced before the fall.Religion? culture? history? morallity? etc.

The conflict would probably not have ended but for the teaching of Jesus that we should forgive our enemies. There are still sporadic incidents caused by those who ignore His precepts.Ireland might have been more peaceful without religion…

First the idea is about a world without Christianity, and to properly answer that question here is one of the gods imported into the island…but I actually think we be the same because God is here anyway
Crom Cruach was a deity in pre-Christian Ireland, reputedly propitiated with human sacrifice, whose worship is said to have been ended by St. Patrick.

Although their conflict took that form, it would have happened anyway.Ireland might have been more peacefull without religion…

The world would still be largely pagan, because Judaism is an ethnic religion that has never had more than a tangential appeal outside the people of Israel.Religion? culture? history? morallity? etc.

Good point, but Islam would not be prevalent, as it It was loosely based and formed out of early Christianity> Therefore if Jesus was never here, Christianity wouldn’t exist which also means Islam wouldnt exist either.Among monotheism Islam and perhaps Judaism would be the major faiths of the world and probably still only a small portion of the population. Judaism would still transition into Rabbinic Judaism since Christians had a very small hand in instigating the Jewish-Roman Wars (if any).
Religion wise, I think a Pagan Roman Empire would be slightly more stable as paganism was rather open to just add new gods into their pantheons when they became popular among the masses or at the very least tolerating them.
However I think the Middle East at the very least would still be conquered by Islam. Even without the problem of religious division the Roman Empire was a decaying one and would be divided by the Latin and Greek sections of the Empire.
Upon the inevitable collapse of Rome (It was doomed to fail) I do believe far less of Roman literature would be preserved. Monasteries were a safe zone for intellectual salvation, while warlords fought among one another they tended to leave monasteries alone perhaps out of their own Christian fervor. If anyone can prove otherwise that Christian warlords fighting fellow Christians destroyed Churches and Monasteries please let me know. My point is a secular pagan place to store lost archives would be open game to sacking vandals. After all why would someone who worshiped a Celtic god care if they sacked a temple to Jupiter, or a rich villa?
I think the Dark Ages would truly deserve that name had Christianity never became the void filler upon the fall of Rome.
You are right, I was thinking at first that Islam would simply continue without the passages that included Jesus as a Prophet. However, I doubt Muhammad would find much appeal in taking all his information from Judaism as it is not a religion that seeks to convert outsiders.Good point, but Islam would not be prevalent, as it It was loosely based and formed out of early Christianity> Therefore if Jesus was never here, Christianity wouldn’t exist which also means Islam wouldnt exist either.
