I hope you don’t think that I’m making the “cannibalism” charge, Bonnie! I’m saying others make that charge. I think it’s ludicrous and lame!
If we’re cannibals, then we are correct in saying the Eucharist is the Body & Blood of Christ! And the “accusers” are admitting it! Because if it isn’t, we aren’t. 😉

I thought this one was a joke at first, but the guy is now posting it all over the place.

“Catholicism is openly anti-christ. They are a denomination, which rearranged is demonination.”

All I can say is …the heck? 🤷

Not Really Anti-Catholic, but… yeah…
Apparently, the KJV is the word of God because nobody would rewrite Shakespeare or Dickens, so why would anybody rewrite the Word of God. Then they gave a scripture about how the word of God is purified like silver, in a furnace seven times. He thinks that proves the KJV is the only one, but that makes me think otherwise.

While doing a completely unrelated search, I stumbled across this parody of a Chick tract. Those of you familiar with the ‘weird fiction’ of H.P. Lovecraft will find it especially humorous. It’s disturbing that, in tone and format, it’s identical to the real thing.

I apologise in advance for the know-it-all, ‘Christianity-is-a-religion-of-fear-and-mankind-has-outgrown-it’ shibboleths expressed on the host website.
It’s interesting that the parodist has had to concede to political correctness (or fear?) to a certain extent:
he refers to Abdul Alhazred as the ‘mad monk’, instead of the ‘mad Arab’ as he is called by Lovecraft in the original.

Bless you all (and Mr Chick too),
zdon

Maybe it’s already been posted, but the lamest lulu anti-catholic whopper I’ve read is that the Catholics are cannibals since they ‘feast on the flesh and blood of Christ.’:rolleyes:😛
That one’s as old as the Church itself… (almost) literally. It was a rumour among the Romans, along with the allegation that Christians were incestuous, because they addressed each other as ‘brother/sister’, with the Kiss of Peace.

When you rearrange the word Catholicism you can get the word Actholicism, and that’s not a word.

I’m more of a observer than regular poster, but here is the craziest whopper: “Catholics are not Christians.”😦 This statement angers me (part of my family is Catholic, so I take this personally). I can remember arguring with fellow non-Catholics why it not only doesn’t make any religious sense, but it is also a logically unsound statement. Just my two cents.

Now for something less serious: I remember reading online that the Catholic Church had created vaccines and mind control techniques.

Yes and they are working on you, you don’t think you came up with Catholics being Christian on you own do ya?

You just thought that was a MMR vaccine.

Also ‘Slim Cat Choi’. Sounds like a coooool street fighter from a manga comic!

It may be that he tries (vainly) to hunt down Catholics and refers to them as “Cat Licks”!

Maith an fear, Prophesy!
God Bless,
Colmcille1.🙂

A grandmother of a girl on my daughters softball team quickly became decent friends with my wife while they sat together watching games. They sat together talking of this and that for 3 months and the ladies grand daughter (my daughters friend) came to our house 4 or 5 times to play during that time. Lo and behold, the coach was telling the parents that we had a make up game on a Sunday and to be at the field at noon. My wife spoke up and said that our daughter would be late because we don’t get out of church until 11:30. A few minutes later the Grandmother came up to my wife and said, "oh, I didn’t know you were a church going Christian, what church do you go to? My wife answered Sacred Heart. The smile immediately melted off the grandmothers face and she said, "oh… your catholic… She walked away and never spoke to or sat near my wife again, and her grand daughter has amazingly been too busy to visit with my daughter since. I’m not sure what “whoppers” were in this ladies mind, but I’m sure they had to be good ones.🤷

God bless,

John

That is just so sad.

Or you get Cthalicosim Which while not a word, does sound vaguely Cthulhuesque and thus is cool.

Sweet! They even use the cover of the Simon Necronomicon.

What are we? Jedi? Oho, if only… if only.
No, it’s the Vatican’s Orbital Mind Control Lasers Only a few people are aware of them and are fighting against them. You can recognize these committed anti-Catholics by the tin foil they wear on their heads to try to block the beams.

Wearing a tinfoil hat wouldn’t hurt for yourself either. It can provide numerous types of protection from ethereal waves or beams.

I’m told a bit of egg salad residue on the foil increases it’s effectiveness. :hypno:
