Me, too! I love the way they look, but worth it having them in the garden for the scent alone.

One of my favorite flowers! And the color is gorgeous! I want to get married just for the bouquet! LOL And that’s not a good reason!

Wow.

Would love to be here. These flowers would have overwhelmed the garden with their perfume.

I’m a sucker for fragrant flowers.

Me too 😍
I brought in some jasmine flowers last night so that I could enjoy the fragrance,it’s just so beautiful. One of my sons loves it too,it’s fairly heady .

You should try planting night blooming jasmine.

I hear it grows well in Australia.

The fragrance is very powerful.

No need to get married in order to wear that flower.

In Hawaii a lot of women wear flowers in their hair in lieu of jewelry. You could do the same.

Another photo of the Keukenhof Gardens in Holland .

I shall look for it next time at the garden centre ! Thank you.At the front veranda would be nice ,or out my bedroom window.I have Honeysuckle that flowers there and love having the window open in warm weather for that reason.
Rob, you would know well the honeysuckle that grows wild in the hedgerows in Ireland and and England etc…I have some that have the same beautiful scent 🙂

Honeysuckle reminds me of my late grandmother. I think it was her favorite flower and she had that and patchouli growing in her garden.

I love the aroma of honeysuckle, and it has the added benefit of being a Hummingbird magnet.

Below is a hula dance about the pikake flower, a type of jasmine that grows in Hawaii.

Hope you enjoy it. Notice that the women are wearing garlands of it. The fragrance must have been powerful. The audience not only sees the dancing and hears the music but also smells the fragrance. A feast for the senses.

I don’t think a butterfly bush smells very fragrant, and it’s flowers aren’t the nicest, but I love them because they really do attract butterflies. I love butterflies.

I wonder if the scent is different between varieties?
I have lovely Buddleja’s in the garden (so easy to grow from pieces!) that is a pale pinky purple and smells kind of like a really nice hand cream or something. The butterflies love it ,and I bring a lot indoors to scent the house.(very nice falling asleep to such a natural perfume 🙂 )
