A Two Day Period of Darkness would fall 37 to 40 days before the Three Days of Darkness.

Any thoughts…apparently this is part of the package aswell…? Has anyone heard about this?
No, John, I haven’t. I have an inquiry in to the Priest that told me about it and looking for an untainted source…there is so much misinformation pertaining to this. Samson

Thanks Samson. Trust all is well with you dear Brother in Christ?

Does this mean only 100% beewax candles will even light up during the three days? 😦
Zosimus, Sorry, but I don’t remember exactly. I don’t know… I think I stated in my post that I wasn’t clear on that, but that I had heard that they must be pure beeswax. Its been years since I did research on this subject. Sorry I don’t have anything else to go by. I’m certain my memory can be faulty!

If you have read it is something else, then go by that instead. I do think I remember reading that the candles on the altar before Vatican II need to be 100% beeswax, but I don’t have or remember documentation for that either. I do think it was reduced percentage because of the expense. There is a serious bee mite problem going on these days that is endangering bee populations that could be driving up the cost.

Padre got back to me and said his source was “Wife, Mother & Mystic” by Tan books. He also said he has a bunch of blessed 51% candles in the copier room.lol. How’s that for service?. He’s a pretty level headed, straight shooter, so I’ll take his advice to be always ready “for you never know when the Master will be home.” Samson

Thanks!👍

That google link on post 6 is from some schismatics. I wouldn’t take them seriously.
I should have looked a little more closely before providing the link. They seem to have some conspiracy theory about a falsified Papal election. Sorry about that.

Don’t look now but we have darkness inflation.

With my bad luck, I’ll probably be homeless, then what am I supposed to do?

or maybe I’ll have a job and I’ll be working when the darkness hits. Oh yeah, an hour and half commute during the apocalypse by public transportation will be fun.

This is the Blue Line to Armageddon. Next stop, who knows, the driver’s dead so let’s see where it actually stops. Watch the doors, the doors are closing…forever.

It has been mentioned by some mystics.

Three days of Darkness. No light will work. Blessed candles only.

You step outside, you are dead.

Does that sound like God to you? A 3 year old opens the door and steps outside he’s fried. Animals OK, though.

With all due respect, I just don’t believe it.

NB: a three days of darkness without all the voodoo, I have no problem with. Three days with no light; each person sees the fullness of their own sinfulness; a permanent sign left.
That is believable. The idea of God allowing someone who is a good Catholic and who is innocent and knows nothing about all the bells and whistles to die because they didn’t cross the t’s (no pun intended) or dot the i’s is absolutely not believable.
Sounds like God to me. Ever heard of Passover?

IF you had been anywhere close to the DC area in the past few weeks, you may have already experienced several days of darkness, no electricity, no AC for 5 or 6 days…

More than 300,000 household out of power for almost a week durng one of the hottest weeks of the year thousands of down tree all around town… some areas looked like a war zone…, The End is near !! and the sky is falling !!!

no big cross in the sky yet, but it can’t be too far behind…

When God tells me to get a couple of candles blessed, I’ll get them… but in the mean time, I’ll just stay in the state of grace and let tomorrow take care of itself.

What if I told you to get a Coleman lantern like we did…would you get it?🙂

Neither did the killing of the first born and lambs blood to bypass your house, but as we know, it was Gods work.

Good point. Although I would argue that the Chosen people’s numbers were much, much, much smaller than the numbers of faithful Catholics today. And in that case He told them pretty directly, so there could be no confusion.😉

I’m not sure that most folks wouldn’t run for the hills. The miracle of the sun at Fatima scared the crowds to death.

Maybe faith in God is comforting, but the sudden proof of God apparently can be quite terrifying, as different Biblical encounters prove.

I still think I’m sudden heart attack material…😃
If I saw it I am the person that would be blurting out every prayer in the book. I think I am to young to be sudden heart attack material unfortunately lol.
GLORY BE TO…!
HAILY MARY…!
OUR FATHER…!
APOSTLES CREED…!
HAIL HOLY QUEEN…!
AGNUS DEI…!
