And one’s place of birth will affect one’s political decisions? What nonsense! Some people need to get a hobby or something.I’ve heard alot of good questions regarding the Presidents birth certificate and they go unanswered. As far as I know Bill O’Reilly goes on TV and says it’s a non-issue and that’s all the public requires to let it go.
Why not just present the birth certificate?
Forgive me, I thought spending all the time and money in numerous courts battles was wasteful. It made more sense to simply produce the birth certificate. Don’t worry, lot’s of your fellow citizens have made a hobby of looking for employment. And one’s place of birth will affect one’s political decisions? What nonsense! You have defined American politics as usual and American culture at large…step over and destroy your opponent and kick him when he is down. Why anyone thinks America is still a Christian country escapes me.To be honest, as an outsider, this just looks like an attempt to smear Obama’s name, especially as the ones who are getting riled about this are Republicans anyway. And there’s no such thing as clean tactics when it comes to politics.
I heard 1 in 3. I’d actually believe its more likely that his birth certificate indicates Muslim as religion than the idea that it does not exist. This, coupled with the fact that almost 50% of Americans think he’s Muslim, is an almost laughable attempt to smear the President to me, an outsider.
Not to the “birthers.” They know more than the State Dept., the Hawaii vital records people, and two Hawaii governors (one of them a Republican). They also know more than the intelligence agencies (the real ones, not the pratfall front guys) and the military who handed the nuclear keys to the President. If you can use a Certificate of Live birth to obtain a US passport, doesn’t that make the document just as valid as a Birth Certificate?
A certificate of live birth legally IS a birth certificate. It just has a slightly different name printed at the top. My birth certificate issued by the State of Pennsylvania also doesn’t have the title “Birth Certificate” printed at the top. In fact I bet many of the people in this topic don’t have something titled as a “Birth Certificate.”I found it interesting that when you go to the State of Hawaii Vital Statistics site to look for a certificate, the first thing you encounter is a Certificate of Live Birth, which the site says is used for pretty much everything “Certified copies of these records may be issued to authorized individuals and used for such diverse purposes as school entry, passports, Social Security participation, driver’s licenses, employment, sports participation, survivor’s benefits, proof of property rights, and other needs.”
If you can use a Certificate of Live birth to obtain a US passport, doesn’t that make the document just as valid as a Birth Certificate? In fact, you have to dig deep on the site to actually come up with a Birth Certificate.
That’s what they said about 2008!Here is what is going to happen: the controversy will become a whirlwind and become stronger and stronger and stronger.
And then one week before the 2012 election, Obama will show everyone his actual original birth certificate and he will win re-election in a landslide.
What could be better than to create a phony controversy and then deflate it at the last minute … the next “October Surprise”.
His showing the birth certificate will, as they say, “suck all the oxygen out of the room”.
The question is not about being an American citizen. A naturalized American has a US passport. If you can use a Certificate of Live birth to obtain a US passport, doesn’t that make the document just as valid as a Birth Certificate? In fact, you have to dig deep on the site to actually come up with a Birth Certificate.
And one more time…how does one’s birthplace affect his or her political decisions? Second, how is producing a birth certificate going to change your life? Oh trust me, I know a lot of fellow citizens have made a hobby of looking for employment-similar under the 8 years of no clue-no brains- Bush.Forgive me, I thought spending all the time and money in numerous courts battles was wasteful. It made more sense to simply produce the birth certificate. Don’t worry, lot’s of your fellow citizens have made a hobby of looking for employment.
Is it a constitutional requirement he displays it in public?Do you have a question about George Bush?
Which George Bush do you have a question about?
The First, or his son, the Second President? Both of whom were in the Military.
<-Both of both of their parents were U.S. Citizens when they were born.
This is the millions-dollar question.
There are those Constitutional Requirements that need to be fulfilled and followed.
God Bless you.
+Jesus, I Trust In You!
Love, Dawn
Did George Bush display his birth certificate to prove he was entitled to be President?
Doesn’t someone check to see if they have a birth certificate before they become President in the first place?
Agreed, but better you say it than me. If I went that far and said that, I would have been told that I was from a socialist country so of course I did not realise just how important these laws are for maintaining the country as a democracy.Exactly. It’s a nonsensical conspiracy theory aimed at an African-American man who won the Presidency of the United States. You might notice, Lemon, that my country has a long way to go until we get over the racism of our past. The GOP is on a KGB-style “show us your papers” across the country these days. And there’s a motivation behind it for sure…Kansas this week made it mandatory to show birth certificates or Passports when REGISTERING to vote making it very, very inconvenient for groups to do on-the-spot voting at Target or Walmart or grocery stores. For goodness sakes, who goes to the grocery store with a birth certificate or (they even mentioned circumcision records, I kid you not!) or passport ready to register? Fact is that the overwhelming majority of get out the vote efforts benefit Democrats. Most new voters register Democrat as well statistically-speaking. This is another way to shut the door on these folks and decrease Democratic numbers. It has a purpose…
“Show us your papers!” Sounds so Soviet to me…so…hmmmm…socialist!![]()
You leveled this charge on another thread. Presidential candidates have had their citizenship challenged, including white candidates. Indeed, most challenges have been against white candidates.Exactly. It’s a nonsensical conspiracy theory aimed at an African-American man who won the Presidency of the United States. You might notice, Lemon, that my country has a long way to go until we get over the racism of our past.
How will he address the war issue?Prediction:
Sometime in 2012–close to election gas prices start dropping like a rock and the President goes on TV to take credit for that, and at the same time he shows his BC to the nation while still on TV.
He wins re-election in a landslide.
He will simply pull back or announce a pull back in time for the election. This entire BC issue is playing into his hands–it takes the focus off Obamacare and other issues that can cause him real trouble with getting re-elected. Republicans are being incredibly stupid with the BC issue…and so is Trump. How will he address the war issue?
NO FOURTH TERM!!!
This thread is about a book.I thought the birth certificate conspiracy was a banned topic?
