There are far more important issues to worry about than this.
On the contrary, there is no evidence that BHO was born in the US and considerable evidence that he was not, including his admission from his own mouth. For documentation, there is only the Hawaiian COLB, which were routinely issued to foreign born non-citizens. The notice of birth in the newspaper is no evidence at all. It is incumbent on the applicant to prove eligibility. We, as his employers, have a right to know that he is eligible. Instead all we have is obfuscation, ridicule, and megabuck lawsuits to keep all the official records hidden.
There is evidence that he was born in Hawaii; not definitive evidence, that’s true, but sufficient evidence for government purposes such as getting a passport, etc.
However, there is no evidence that he was born elsewhere. There is no evidence that his mother travelled to Kenya at that time, there is no evidence in Kenya that he was born there. Kenyans who are not even related to him saying that he was, even saying in a language foreign to them that they are building some sort of memorial, is not evidence. Have you ever had an extended conversation in a foreign language with a native speaker of that language? You don’t necessarily catch the particular meanings of what they are saying, just the jist.
The fact that BHO has sealed all of his records and spends megabucks to keep all of that hidden, tells me there is something to hide. The truth is that we don’t really know who this man is.
I agree that he has something to hide; I disagree that it is any of pir business. Aside from where he was born, there is absolutely nothing about his birth which is any of our business. At that time, there was a lot of shame attached to a birth which occurred less than 9 months after the wedding, and “miscenegation” was still an issue.
Why anything about his birth other than the location is any of or business is beyond me. It wouldn’t reflect on him at all.
It is really hard to prove things when everything has been sealed.
So what if he doesn’t reveal that stuff? Some of it, btw, is not “sealed,” just unknown, and if the list has his “adoption records” on it as some of these lists do, then that is simply deceptive. He is not required by law to reveal it, and apparently the lack of this information was not a problem with his getting elected, which is all that counts.
What does it matter if the excerpt from his speech is short? He clearly states, “It is true. I am not an American. I was not born in Hawaii. I was not born in the United States of America. I come from Kenya.” or are you saying that he did not say those things, that someone dubbed them onto the video?
Here are some longer exerpts from that speech. He does not continue to say, “I’m only kidding.”

The first one does not contain a longer excerpt; I haven’t checkedmout the second yet.
You ask what does it matter if it’s short? Gee, what does it matter if the tape with his grandmother was short, other than the fact that she directly says he was born in Hawaii in the part that was cut out? Did you look at the document I linked? It has the part that was edited out, the part where Mrs Obama says he was born in Hawaii.
Context matters. An ad for a rrestaurant could quote part of Gordon Ramsey’s saying: This restaurant is amazing, because despite the terrible food and lousy service, it is still in business. So, just take the right “short” part and you have, this restaurant is amazing…
