A) I KNOW that he administers and counsels using the Enneagram (I call it the “enemagram”), which it that New Agey, psychobabblish inventory, in his spiritual direction and workshops.
B) I’ve HEARD him quoted as not adhering to the belief in the Atonement of Our Lord as a salvific sacrifice for the sins of the world. I’m not certain how accurate it was since he was being quoted and you have to be careful of judging someone based on something that’s attributed to them by a 3rd party.
C) I lived in New Mexico during the time that Rohr’s Center for Action and Contemplation in Albuquerque was kind of a big deal in the Archdiocese of Santa Fe. The stuff I was hearing coming out of there, in the form of 3rd hand information, made me uneasy. I can’t repeat it here, at the risk of calumny at the most and detraction at the least, but it made me extremely wary. Sorry to be vague, but again, I know nothing definite.
