I am not so foolish to think that laws can prevent all harassment. After all, murder was illegal, but lynching in the south continued until the 1960s. That’s the south in America, where we spell favor without a ‘u’. Am I to take it that you aren’t American and I am wasting my time here because you don’t understand the US?
As I have stated, I am not American but I know your history and I know the evil of political correctness.

I know that the horrific crimes of real racism in your country are attributable to the historic Democratic Party and I know they are the ones today shouting the loudest, attempting to see racism everywhere and constantly pointing the fingers at others while not being able to point out in law where this racism exists.

That is not a co-incidence.

Ok, you aren’t American. That explains a lot. Have a great evening…er… whatever it is wherever you are.
Brunei in the early afternoon, tomorrow Malaysia, later in the week Nepal and then onto Bangladesh.

I was in the United States in May. The use of racism is a world wide issue. You shouldn’t use it for political reasons to divide people anywhere, including the politically correct evangelists in the United States.

NOpe
It was a weak article that tries to re-frame the discussion of legitimate political issues as subtly being racist, without actually supporting their re-framing of the issues.

Advocating for legal immigration is just the rule of law, it’s not racist.
I don’t think it is a co-incidence that the people wishing to see racism everywhere are people supporting the historically racist Democratic Party. It seems psychologically they need to point the fingers somewhere else.

Unfortunately the Democratic Party are still using views on race as a dividing line. Hopefully a growing number of black Americans will see through that and reject identity politics so as to create a shared future.

The way Trump is basking in such low unemployment rates for Blacks and Hispanics should put paid to the ridiculous idea he is some sort of white nationalist Hitler. For some though, reality is a challenge.

When Trump argues for mass white immigration into the United States and for race quotas to be implemented for University entrants then you will have your parallel but that is far away from the world we live in. Well, most of us.
As Trump argues for reduced immigration and expresses a preference for people from countries populated almost exclusively by whites over countries populated almost exclusively by non-whites, we have a parallel.
… refused to comment on the actual parallel that was given.
The so-called parallel that you gave received all of the comment that it deserved. There is no parallel racial bias in component to immigration laws in place or proposed by Trump’s opponents. Nor is there any law excluding access to higher education on the basis of race in this country.

I too thought the Brian Stelter article (along w Tom Kludt) was looking for racism when there was none.

A lot of people think legal immigration needs a slower flow to help immigrants with assimilation.

Other people have other reasonable reasons.

Stelter often seems to be inventing conspiracy theories. Especially racist ones.

Once he floated that as a college kid, Fox News hired a gal to date him to spy on him.

That clip can be seen by political satirist Mark Dice hereat about 1:35)

He refused to collaberate this “to protect” the alleged girl.

No word yet on Trump employing space aliens to monitor Stelter but maybe that will be next? Who knows?

I think these people (and others) WANT to harm Ingraham.

But I can thank Stelter for reminding me. I need to watch or listen to more of Laura Ingraham perhaps.

Thanks for your insightful international perspective.

God bless.

Reduced immigration was not the Malaysian example. You are trying to force it and yet again, and still refusing to address the parallel that was presented.

One party is using open border immigration as a political weapon. You will not discuss that.

One party is using open border immigration as a political weapon.
Yes, it is the Republican party. There is no policy for open borders in policy of the Democratic party, but Trump speaks as thought there were to anti-immigrants in his base.

A lot of people think legal immigration needs a slower flow to help immigrants with assimilation.

Other people have other reasonable reasons.
The Pew survey that I recently linked indicates that 61% of Republicans want immigration at current or higehr rates. Numbers are higher among independents and Democrats. Overall, there is little support for the position you describe.

Democrats have talked open borders. Sanctuary cities, defying federal law is encouraging open borders as is refusal to deal with border security and granting of ID’s without citizen checks.

Elements in the Republican party also want a type of de facto open immigration policy for business reasons.

It is the Democrats who want such things for political reasons.

dvdjs . . .
The Pew survey that I recently linked indicates that 61% of Republicans want immigration at current or higehr rates.
So what?

Other people feel differently.

If they do, it is inappropriate to impugn their motives as racism.

Democrats have talked open borders.
Been down this road before. Some have talked aspirationally, not policy, of something akin to the Eurozone in the the Americas. So there has been “talk”, but then again Trump “talks” of open orders. Other posters have pointed out that the term “open borders” in some writings means things other than “open borders”.

If peopel are defying ferderal they should be prosecuted, by people competent in federal law. THere is nothing wrong with granting “ID’s” to non-citizens.
It is the Democrats who want such things for political reasons.
So you say.

dvdjs . . .
But it is important to quantify “a lot” . . .
Your arguing is non-sense here.

You don’t get to impugn people’s motives dvdjs.

Even when you quantify “a lot”.

Even if these people are “conservative”.

Even when you don’t like her.

Advocating against legal immigration on the grounds of demographic change such that we hardly recognize America anyone is racist.
Study how we managed it in the past, we intentionally ensured a wide dispersion of immigrants, which worked well in terms of racial and ethnic diversity. From the historical perspective. there is a reasonable concern that we have lost this balance.

BLM is an organization directed at ending the violence perpetrated by some police officers on the black community. It does not belong on your list.
Numerous members have made racist statements. It belongs on the list because it is an inherently racist organization, just like the KKK.

Yes we had a political maverick in Australia who claimed Rupert Murdoch’s wife was a Beijing spy. Not quite the alien claim but getting there.

I think it is great that networks like CNN have become a joke among a large section of the population. The Left took control of media and had an unchallenged run for a couple of decades. They didn’t have to be blatant in their bias but a steady stream of reporting from a sole political framework meant they could control the narrative and many people grew up thinking they were reflecting normal culture.

Now that they have been challenged and satirized the mask is well and truly off and they are in a rage that they have lost a lot of their power and credibility. I only see it getting worse for them from here on in. God willing.

It is hard to read what she said and come to any other conclusion.
So you are allowed to read what someone says and come to a conclusion but when someone like @Ridgerunner says does the same you say things like “You first ought to speak truthfully about what people said.” or “It is always better to hear people in their own words rather than the words that others stuff into their mouths.”

More do as i say not as i do hypocrisy from the American Left (™ so your are not triggered)

You have victimology in the US. It is the Marxist inspired sub cults of political correctness. It is feminism, it is black victimology, it is gay victimology, etc.
You forgot white victomolgy and Christian victomolgy (think war on Christmas). Oh, and my personal favorite, male victomolgy (aren’t men supposed to be strong and not whine about being picked on?)
