The one thing that was missing:

An appeal to authority to be lazy about defending and promoting the Catholic faith to other Christians.

I think that some Muslims have more reverence for Jesus and Mary than Anglicans do.

I think it’s an example of you trying to whitewash yourself. “Oh you see, I’m not anti-Muslim, I once said something vaguely complimentary about them.”

The majority of Muslims in America want to be governed by Sharia. So why is it wrong to talk about it? And how is one to know what the “individual political outlooks” of any particular Muslim might be?
 
As memory serves there was a dodgy survey a few years ago that made the claim the majority of American Muslims want Sharia, but yes, the Pew research suggests that overall, most American Muslims are pretty typical Democrats.

Which, to Republicans, probably is just about is evil as wanting Sharia.

Yes, some Muslims did that, and it was a small group. You know, sort of like a few white folks went around chanting White Supremacist slogans in Charlottesville, but I don’t jump to the conclusion that all white people are Nazis.

Actually, Muslim women are probably more victims of that behaviour on a more routine basis than anyone else.

It wouldn’t be such a problem if 1) the EU media stopped running cover for bad behaviour from their preferred groups 2) the white nationalist media reported on the assaults against Muslim women. As they keep pointing out, there’s more than just white women in Europe 3) The virtue-signaling by people who are more mainstream but just want to look good would end 4) the police did their job 5) immigration and refugee policy were reformed
