And the invitation was extended to Spencer by groups in Poland.

I guess The Guardian, because it’s a British publication, figures their readers already know these things.
 
Of course not. They don’t report on what actually takes place. They always have to spin the story to fit their agenda.
 
Open borders are a cause of societal tension. If a group of people who hold a completely contrary worldview to the natives of a particular land move in to that land in large numbers, it causes self segregation and disintegration. It serves neither party well to have open borders.

And most wouldn’t know why it is celebrated on Nov. 11, or why 1918 was the year Poland proclaimed her independence. And it had more to do with the collaps of Europe’s empires than with anything else. I suggest reading something by Norman Davies.
 
This indeed was the case when the left wing parties ruled Poland until 2015. They considered the Independence Day celebration to be a fascist rally and actually sent out thugs to disrupt the marches and wreak havoc. This ended a couple of years ago when the new party was voted in and the marches were peacesul. This year seems to be something else again, as the celebration seems to be attracting right wing fringe groups from abroad. This is certainly not supported by the Polish government, alas, Poland is still located where it is located and her friendly neighbors have a way of making unexpected things happen at most inconvenient times.

Easy to accuse “those East Europeans” of racism. This attitude betrays a little prejudice n’est pas?

Here, in America, all the white, affluent, liberal elites that are opposed to racism leave the racially integrated urban areas and reside in the all-white suburbs. They send their kids to all-white suburban schools, or to all-white private schools.
And all along, they accuse the low-income white residents of the inner cities of rasism, fascism and bigotry.

When i ask them why they escape the inner city, they innocently admit that they do so to protect their childern. “From what?” - I aks them, and they are left speechless. These are the true racists, who btw also promote open borders and mass immigration, as long as the immigrants do not move into the all-white suburbs inhabited by the progressives.
 
This is true, but I don’t see Trump as terribly responsible for the fact that fringe groups want to jump on his bandwagon. The truth is they would have done it with just about any white Republican candidate because they hated Obama so much.

I’m a bit disturbed by the tendency to blame Trump for things that have been going on in US society since well before he even announced his candidacy. The Chief Executive has very little to do with whether some Southern state decides to remove a state-owned statue of Robert E. Lee that they have been waffling around about removing for years.

One needs to be careful even with audio or visual. Believe me, a clever photographer can give an idea completely opposite to what is happening, and a clever editor can make the speaker appear to advocate that which he is against.

I learned this from a professional photographer and started watching out for it. For example, in the French riots several years ago, there were lots of pics of burned-out cars. When I looked at them closely, I saw they were of the same incident, just taken at different times of day, from different angles, and then using different filters.

What are you talking about? Polish people are white. Irish people are white. Russians people are white. Germans are white. Hungarians are white. Italians are white. Spanish people are white. Europe is white! If someone tells me they’re Polish, I am going to think of a white ethnic group in Europe. If someone tells me their German, I am also going to think of a white ethnic group in Europe. If someone tells me they’re American, I am going to think of a number of different people living on the North American continent because being “American” is different from being Polish or English or Irish or even African or Indian. You can be a Polish American, but you cannot be a Polish African, the latter doesn’t make sense.

What are you talking about? The idea that a non-white person cannot be considered Polish, Irish or any other nationality is ridiculous.

Of course non-white people can be Polish. You live in Poland a long time and you’re Polish, especially if you’ve adapted to the language and culture.

Which is still far better I believe then simply a writer’s account that I have to just trust, at least with video and audio I believe there are signs one can pick up on if it’s being manipulated like you mention but not if it’s an article where one must just trust the author.

Ot entirely sure what that means and where it leads, but in the not so distannt past we had this: Operation Vistula (Akcja Wisła, which was evil.
 
Having a black parent and an Irish parent means you’re half black and half Irish, you’re a mix of two ethnic groups. You would’t be fully one or the other. You wouldn’t be a black Irishman, you’d be half black and half Irish.

No, Poles are an ethnic group, adopting culture doesn’t change your ethnicity. If I go to China right now and start taking on Chinese culture, speaking the language, eating the food, participating in the cultural events, am I now Chinese? No of course not! But of course, when it comes to whites everything becomes different all of a sudden.
