And? This doesn’t answer my questions about whether you have organized or run any type of event with large groups of people. Your response here leads me to believe that you haven’t run anything with large amounts of people, so you simply don’t know what is involved with coordinating large groups. If my impression is wrong, please give some info on events or organizations you’ve run with large groups of people. Better yet, why don’t you give some of your military experience and your experience with commanding troops.

Completely irrelevant to our discussion and my points about coordinating groups of people. But it may be helpful. Did you have a coach in your football teams? Did you practice? Did you practice a lot? Did you practice ten times as much as the actual games you played? Did you still have games where things didn’t go well, and plays weren’t run properly, even with hours and hours of practice???

Please answer these questions.

Who runs these bbq’s? Who organizes the food, drinks, plates, condiments, coolers, ice, side dishes, clean up, tables, chairs, entertainment, charcoal, grills, cooking, games, plates, silverware, napkins, garbage bags, set up, etc, etc, etc,etc???

And that’s just a simple bbq, with NO ONE having to coordinate together their activities. If Bob doesn’t show up on time, the bbq still runs without him. If Achmed the artillery guy goes down/gets shot/is captured/dies, you NEED to have someone who can operate the artillery in his place.

Others have pointed out that your info is somewhat dated, and we don’t have all the info, because the WH is holding back information. That is why this blew up so much, because the email that came out recently was PURPOSEFULLY not released to Congess when it should have been.

Are you under the impression that rehearsal and practice can only be completed at the site of your attack? You are aware that our US military is practicing and rehearsing constantly for military options right now? Does that mean they lose the element of surprise? Of course not.

Again, your posts simply don’t convey the impression of a person with military experience, organizing experience, leadership experience, or experience with crowds and mobs.

In the end, SMG, if it’s so petty, why all the lies and obfuscations? Just tell the truth and move on. The silence by the administration who promised to be open and transparent is deafening. Nixon’s lies were a lot more petty, he stepped down.

Wrong on both counts. While The Daily Show is a comedy show, it is filled with relevant commentary on current events. The show actually does a better job than so-called “news” shows in calling out politicians on their doublespeak and hypocrisy. And to your second point, it’s sad that so many Obama haters are more concerned about 4 dead Americans than they are about the 7000+ dead Americans due to W’s horrendous foreign policy.
 
Fox news needs to work overtime since the mainstream press in general sympathizes ideologically with the President. If the other news outlets did their job, Fox wouldn’t be needed.

When one looks at the IRS scandal, we are clearly looking at some of the most corrupt politicians in Washington DC in a long time.

I know I always look for hard news on a network called “Comedy central” …NOT.

So you basic points are:
  1. I saw it on a Comedy network
  2. Bush is evil
  3. Fox news is evil
