White House Defends New Benghazi Email

Personal opinion, nothing more. And quite a few, including myself, disagree. And your personal opinion is unfounded since we have concrete evidence that your “team” lied, knowingly, to the American public. So no, your “team” isn’t more honest.

The DNC talking point of “conspiracy theory” is completely ungrounded, unfounded, and libelous accusation. Show me ANYWHERE some indication that the media, particularly the majority of the media, have been looking to do anything but shield the Administration and sweep this under the rug. I’ve already explained why this is a scandal, on three different items. 1. Gun running. 2. Refusal to help Americans in harm’s way for political expediency. 3. Lying about the cause of the attack.

Present some evidence.

Because mortars are expensive, and heavy, and difficult to use. They need highly trained people to operate them or you’ll blow yourself to smithereens. You need coordination among the fighting forces so your fighters don’t walk into the kill zone. You need coordination among fighters to identify, target, and attack. They are NOT simply thrown around and allowed to be used willy-nilly. They are a very rationed-use weapon.

That and spontaneous usage of mortars and heavy weapon systems usually leads to your guys receiving what was intended for the other guys. Especially when such an attack isn’t preplanned (as is the claim being made about the attack) and there isn’t any real command and control.

My position- The Obama administration would know the contact info for the guy representing the US in a country that was just coming out of a civil war in a country that was the focus of international attention and interest in a region (the Middle East and N. Africa) that is of vital US national interests (which involve interests outside of the war on terror and the war on terror itself). And this isn’t even taking into account the heightened state of concern in the administration due to the worldwide protests it claims were due to a movie.



If the Obama administration didn’t know Stevens’s contact info, than everyone involved needs to be fired for incompetence. We aren’t talking about an ambassador stationed in a “wait, that’s a country?” state that had zero internal unrest, zero US national interest, and zero visibility/interest to the international community.

You know, Obama could be caught on video knocking off a convenient store, and within minutes, his shills would be out there telling us that he was testing their security systems. It is simply difficult for some people to admit that they were wrong about anything, let alone a heavily considered decision which turned out to be so tragically wrong.
If President Bush and Sec. Rice were AWOL for 8 hours during such an atrocity, every “reporter” (and I use this description jocularly) would fight tenaciously every day until the answers were uncovered. AND, I might add, the principles were removed from office in disgrace. Rob

I’ve personally controlled training and combat operations that involved more “moving parts” with nothing more than 2 radios, a map, and a notebook while riding around in the back of a Bradley or the passenger seat of an uparmored Humvee.

We have already had several hearings that should have resulted in something. The media doesn’t care. They will continue to point fingers at the republicans. Most of the american public doesn’t seem to care.
The obama administration will obviously not admit anything.
Granted I believe this needs investigated but look what happened with the IRS scandal. Nothing. Benghazi resulted in the deaths of 4 people but the administration and most americans want to move on.
I feel soneone should be held accountable but for the democrats and this administration they seem to get away with everything.

I want to know the whereabouts and actions (or inactions) of everyone involved that night, including Clinton and Obama. Who concocted the video and “demonstration” lies, which Obama continued to spout at the U.N. two weeks after the deaths? Also, the families of the dead deserve to know why security was denied to the consulate for six months leading to 9/11.
