White nationalism is incompatible with Catholicism

. . . . I just wanted to make this thread to reiterate that white nationalism and racism are incompatible with Catholicism.

To those who have engaged in the above, reconsider your positions. Pray for wisdom. And remember: Jesus is a Jew with dark skin, and Holy Mary Mother of God is a Jew with dark skin. You worship someone with dark skin and honor His Mother with dark skin. Jesus looked like a modern Palestinian.

Obviously your concluding statement is correct (racism and white nationalism (and black nationalism, and Asian nationalism)) are incompatible with Catholicism.

But could you quote what you’re referring to? I’ve had my own issues with this forum, but this honestly sounds out of the blue to me. Who’s been defending Hitler and white nationalism???

There’s been one troll poster doing that all over the forum in the last couple days.

The same person has been openly rude to other posters and has caused at least 2 or 3 threads to be locked due to “a large number of community flags”.

Well, @Anonkun has been banned. There’s another contributor whose posts are not quite in the same league but still pretty far out there in terms of political ideology, and he has been suspended temporarily I see. I am mentioning @Anonkun since you mentioned him by name, but I don’t really want to name other names.

But, yes, it is a shame. I actually decided that I had to stop contributing for a couple of months (about a month either side of the US election) because it was actually becoming detrimental for me to be getting into these arguments. I was still browsing threads of interest, but I logged out so that I wouldn’t be tempted to get involved in interminable arguments with people promoting really extreme political viewpoints.

I always feel that I have to protest that I do not live in an echo chamber, and nor do I wish to do so. I know people who hold all kinds of reasonable political opinions, but one does have to draw the line somewhere. For me, that line is that I do not want to engage with somebody like @Anonkun.
 
Okay, but people confuse white nationalism with centre right non-interventionism, I know because in spite of being conscious of my non-white ancestry, I somehow get called a white supremacist.

And for the record, “Black Nationalism” (BLM) and racism against Europeans (BLM, Antifa) is also against Catholicism.

Despite the riots, looting, murders and demands, still not one iota of evidence…

not a single iota…

…that any black person was arrested, shot, tortured…

based on his or her race.

Nope, it was true. I think one of the statements was that Adolf Hitler did not make any blunders like Mao did, or something of the sort. It has since been taken down. I was shocked, not only by the thread, but by the lack of knowledge of history. He must have had the rose-colored glasses of admiration for that evil man.
 
Interestingly enough, a lot of modern white-nationalists are drawn to Germanic Paganism because they don’t want to worship a Middle-Eastern Jew and because they think the teachings of love and compassion are too “unmanly”.

I’ve seen a not-small number of legit Nazis on “Catholic Twitter.” Not people who tiptoe around either it, either. Like people who are openly like “yes, Hitler was a cool dude.”

This is just deflection. If we had a bunch of people in World News defending looting, maybe you’d have a point. Black nationalism is bad, but we don’t have a problem with black nationalists here. Bringing this up is a dodge.

Yeah, there was a punk song when I was young that mentioned Catholic admirers of Nazism. This subgroup has always been around, sadly. In those days they would have seen themselves as defending against Communism.

, I have seen some pretty disturbing stuff on this forum, and it is not just new.

A while back there was a poster who posted about his opposition to misgenation and interracial marriage.
