The inanity of Glenn Beck’s ideas stands on its own in all its grotesque splendor, and needs no support from any past personal flaws of Mr. Beck.

(“If”) what Beck is saying is insanely true, it makes me ask how tenets of socialistic communism covertly infiltrated the Democratic way in the Western World?

Through gradually taking over what is taught in our schools, for the most part. It was not even that covert, just gradual, like a frog in water that gets hotter and hotter without him even noticing until he is boiled.

And through the desire of people who want security more than freedom. It was the fly in the denicratuc ointment that I believe it was Toqueville who talked about. Demagogues can promise the world to be elected and provide people with security from cradle to grave, and only a fool would pass up free money, right?

And free tuition, and guaranteed income, and all the goodies that “educated” people have come to expect as their American birthright.

It is increasingly difficulty to find news sources that do a good job shining the light on both parties. I have to take a sampling of sites from both extremes to even begin to get a handle on the mess of our two parties.

That’s what resonates in me from these people. Yes there are lots of loonies. Seen a Tea Party rally ever? Plenty loonies there too! And you are the first to cry foul when pundits tried to paint the whole movement with those tiny samples. The bottom line is that this points out a glaring problem that nobody else is addressing. Republicans are in favor of ANY sort of businessman and Dems are great at ‘little guy’ PR, but enact policies that close the door on little guys in favor of the mega corps. Obama is a great example. Been to a small neighborhood bank lately? Can’t around here, they’ve all been gobbled up by mega banks since the Obama handed them shiploads of cash. Good luck opening a new bank these days.

Someone has made the emails from the Occupy Wall Street email distro public and searchable. The names in the list are a veritable who’s who in media.
Journolist 2.0 includes well known names such as MSNBC’s Dylan Ratigan, Rolling Stone’s Matt Taibbi who both are actively participating; involvement from other listers such as Bill Moyers and Glenn Greenwald plus well-known radicals.
