I like Splatoon, too. It’s a fresh take on the shooter genre. 😃
Indeed. Prior to Splatoon, the only shooter I ever really played extensively was Goldeneye on the N64. But Splatoon is really a lot of fun. Nintendo was firing on all cylinders when they came up with that idea. I’ve played it far more than any of my other Wii U games.

Lode Runner, M.U.L.E, Wizard, Jumpman were among my favourites from the Commodore 64 era.

Oddly, I never owned a SNES but only borrowed one from friends. I also had a Sega Genesis and played EA hockey with my roommate until my eyes bled.

I consider The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on the N64 one of the greatest games of ever, at least for it’s era. I called in sick 3 days straight when I picked it up.

Huge fan of strategy games of all kinds. Age of Empires and Age of Mythology will forever be my favourites.

I’ve had a PS3 and now own a PS4. I’m less active nowadays but loved the Uncharted series. Currently I’m playing Fallout 4.

Anyone like the walking dead telltale series? I love the first game with clementine and Lee. The storyline was very well done. The second game was good too but not a patch on the first. The third installment has just came out - the new frontier…I haven’t played it yet looks good though.
I like those games. Gameplay itself is a little dull, but it makes up for it with great story-telling and voice acting. Actually found the story and characters more interesting than the TV series. Also have never had so much stress over a video game choice as I did with the end of the second game.

I didn’t even know there was a third one. Have to check it out.

Just bought fallout 4. 'been waiting to play it since last year. I can’t help but find it ironic that i’m going to play a post-nuclear version of my hometown.

Just finished KOTOR. It was only in the wake of all those other games that burned me in between where I realized that it was almost everything I’d been looking for in a video game.

Yes to all three, especially M.U.L.E.! No trading/real estate/colonizing game since ever played as well as that game.

Discovered a classic PC Game: Stronghold. The HD version (as well as it’s sequel, Stronghold: Crusader) was on special on Steam, so I bought it.

Never thought castle building could be so enjoyable.

Grew up with that one; haven’t played it in years

YES INDEED!!

I love video games!

I am a Playstation 4 player, but I do like X-Box as well!

Right now, I am hooked on Fallout 4. That is a great game. I am in a Packers Franchise with Madden 16 and I also have a separate football franchise on the Playstation 2 for Madden 09.

Video games are a great way to pass the time and a fun way to relax! Love working through a game and discovering and exploring. That is sooo fun. Games like Skyrim and Fallout spoil me as they are open world and you can take the storyline anywhere you want to. That is fun!

Anyone who wants to talk video games, I am GAME!! (Pun intended!)

Take care all and GAME ON!!

👍👍👍👍👍

Another classic game that I am playing again is Warcraft III, including it’s expansion, The Frozen Throne. My interest was piqued after I learned Blizzard released a new patch for it after all these years.

Also started playing with the Map Editor and even downloaded a couple of Custom campaigns inspired by World of Warcraft (which I never bought because I don’t buy games that require me to be permanently online, due to internet issues).

I love LucasArts graphic adventures, especially when they were Lucasfilm Games. Monkey Island, Loom and Indiana Jones are my favorites.
I am looking forward for the new adventure of Lucasfilm veterans called Thimbleweed Park. I hope there’s nothing problematic with it, ie: antichristian. I see that in the cemetery part there are no crosses, for example, when in Monkey Island 2 cemetery, there are a few. But I fear that I have to make something like sacrificing the Holy Grail to Satan, a thing I had to do in a fanmade graphic adventure, (and I confessed later). The media has grown a little anti-christian. By the way I make fanmade games, I recently finished a hidden object game (another favorite genre of mine) that is a parody of New Age philosophies, it’s called Indiana Jeans and the Legacy of the Pleiadians. translate.google.com/translate?sl=es&tl=en&js=y&prev=t&hl=es-419&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fmauisland.byethost24.com%2Fho2%2Fega.htm&edit-text=&act=url
It’s in spanish but I posted the link through google translator. It’s a little awful game but has nice dithered (free) art and, I hope, good jokes.

If anyone has a PS4, PM me and maybe we can game and talk about Catholicism.

Last year, I bought a strategy game called Crusader Kings 2 with all of the expansion packs. You wouldn’t BELIEVE how expensive that was. It was a fun game. A little hard to understand sometimes, but I found it captivating. Haven’t played it in a while because my dad’s laptop broke, and the one he uses now is for work.

I also have Crusader Kings II. I have played it but not in a while. Probably because it’s a bit complicated, but mostly because of Paradox’s own expansion pack policy. It seems that they’re churning out a new expansion every single month, and so fast that I just can’t keep up. It’s as if the original (vanilla) game was incomplete from the start.

Found a way to disable Blood and Gore in Fallout 4 by editing the Fallout4.INI
Why would you want to? Doesn’t that sort of break immersion?

Anyway, Fallout 4 is great, but the gold standard is and always will be Fallout: New Vegas.

Big fan of Call Of Duty here.
Been playing some Black Ops 3 for the longest time.
Only PS4 game I have.

I’m into FPS games and I’m looking to trade in my COD for another
FPS game. Not sure just yet what game I’ll get.
