I’m Captain Falcon

I play all kinds of games.

My favorites are any Pokmeon games, any of the Zelda series, Story of Seasons/Harvest Moon, Fantasy Life, I’m sure there are tons more I can’t think of at the moment.

I have a nintendo 3ds XL, it’s so much fun!
😀

Judging from the number of responses, lots of people do! Count me in. I’ve liked them since before I was even in school. They’re one of my favorite forms of electronic entertainment. I especially like the ones that are story-driven. As far as I’m concerned, video games have become as legitimate a storytelling medium as film, these days. Though the classics, like the Super Mario series, are great too!

Used to play a lot more back in college and before the kids came along.

Nowadays, I play Destiny 2 with the ol’ PS4 Clan about one night a week when the wife and kiddos are asleep and my brain won’t shut down. I enjoy some Civ V on occasion, too. But finishing one game can take months, since I’ll only play about an hour a week. If that.

Yeah, I do have to make sure I have enough time on my hands. Much like a good book or film, I don’t like to take forever to finish a game, and lots of them just DO take up lots of time if you don’t want to take months to finish them on a regular basis. Problem is, I think I try to treat them more like movies: You wouldn’t take months to finish a single film, and since movies are much shorter, you can finish them in one or two sittings. I’ve got to get better at regulating games the same way when I do play. But it’s not just games. I’m the same way about long books, if I get really interested. Basically anything, whether it’s a book or a game or a project, that supposed to take a long time to finish, because you’re supposed to do it a little at a time, can carry that same risk for me.

KotOR 2 is a pretty cool game, certainly a very interesting game (although I’m partial to the pleasant simplicity of the first one), but yeah the rushed release really hurt it. I’m also not so into all the moral ambiguity!!! kinda stuff a lot of games seem to be trying to adopt these days that KotOR 2 kind of does; pretty well written in this case but not particularly Star Wars if you ask me.

Yeah the game’s still really enjoyable indeed. And perhaps it’s good to shake things up in the franchise every once in a while.

…I’d certainly take that flavour over the kind of Star Wars games we’re getting today! >_>

Agreed on all counts. There’s a really good PC mod out there that restores a great deal of lost content, but even so the ending is strange. I really liked the feel of the game, overall. Darth Nihilus in particular is interesting and creepy.

pretty well written in this case but not particularly Star Wars if you ask me.
This is pretty apt, I think. Star Wars has traditionally been fairly light-hearted in its overall approach, and KotOR II certainly set that aside for a story that’s much more grim and grey in its feel.

Yes I like video games. I could play them a lot but there are too much nudity and eroticism in games so the choice is tightened.
I like deluxe ski jump 4, its ski jumping simulator, very well made.
Only online game I play is Warframe. Its free to play s-f third person shooter(I would say grind simulator 😜). There are main quest which introduces you to game lore but its more like farming resources to build parts of new weapons or characters. What I like most is the level of diffuculty. You only have tutorial on your first mission, then you have to discover everything yourself. Also there is solar system, so you start on Mars or Earth to get to Sedna.

I play NBA NFL I still play ps3 on a standard tv I have ps4 but no hdtv so I play my last copies for ps3.

I have a Nintendo switch and I love pokemon and Mario kart. I try not to let it distract me from the faith though.

I managed to generate a fun phrase in Civ today!

“It is said that when Simon Peter founded Catholicism, the world’s first religion, the sun broke through the clouds, and a sweet scent filled the air.”
Explanation
The game gives you a random person off its list of great religious people when you build a certain wonder. You get to name your own religion or pick from real-world ones. If you’re the first person in the game to start a religion, it gives you that quote with the name of the religious person and the religion you picked inserted.
