Question: If the eucharist is the way that God designed for Christ to be in our hearts, what happens after one’s taken it already? If Christ is in our heart after eucharist, what happens which requires us to need the eucharist over and over again?

Joshua, sarcasm thrown in the right direction that bears fruit in bringing people to see the light is any time better than accomodating liars who speaks words of ‘charity’ in assistance for wrong doing.

Scolding the evil person and stopping him/her in their tracks is better than doing good to them in foolish accomodation for wrong doing. The former is doing good, the latter an act of evil.

I can only assume the rider of the white horse referred to here is the first and not the second. Considering lots of people dont read the bible a lot it is really worth being finite on this.

I hope it was ok for the forum to quote my post, people were all over me like a rash about what i did not say.

The antiChrist is the Devil. He has to be born to occupy a period of about 1000 yrs before the final judgement. Muslims cannot be called the antiChrist any more than Protestants or anyone who has deviated from the traditional teachings of Christ. Schisms formed all along the way, and will, until God comes once again to take us back to Him. Lucifer is the name of an angel that was given charge by God to watch over the angels in Heaven. When the battle between Michael the Archangel and those fighting for God took place, Lucifer was placed into Hell because he wanted to be ABOVE God and lord his power over the entire world and Heaven. Denying God in His goodness the right to be Lucifer’s Master and keeper. It is spoken of in Revelation that the devil will have to be born, grow and become man and be destroyed by God for the coming of the Kingdom of God. God knows the intentions of your hearts and minds. Only by following God’s commandments will we be with Him in the end. This means ending wars before they begin. Being loving to everyone you meet, and not passing judgement on ANY person, no matter their faith or belief. And trying to live in peace and harmony with one another, even if we disagree with one another.
 
It is often the case that many pickup verses of scripture and in attempts to narrow the meaning we come up short in the full context of things. Anti-Christ isn’t any different. Certain things have particular meanings, and when examining things there are many things that have to be considered.

There are are several terms that should be considered. A list of terms helps.

A short list of terms can further clarify and It might can help with some things.

Son of Perdition,

II thess, makes mention of this person. A falling away first must come… It doesn’t say those who fall away are the son of perdition. But more that they are deceived by this son of perdition. Their falling away reveals who is behind things. This anti-Christ is behind the falling away.

In scripture too, Judaist was called a son of perdition. A list of things that might qualify this character. He had taken communion and betrayed our Lord. Too, He was one who like most Jews wanted Christ to fulfill the will of Israel not the will of the Father. He rejects the authority of the Churches will. But we have to be careful about what we say.

Why so many later considered the Pope evil. Not realizing that the Popes Championed all that was called God in the Church and was a defender of the Faith. They saw his Authority as one who exalts not one who Champions the Beliefs of the Church. They are really just those who despise authority unless they have it to do their will.
The beast,

The beast goes into perdition in Revelations and Daniel. The Beast is the center and power of the political power of the civilized world. It goes into perdition in Daniel Chapter 7. In Chapter 7 the saints receive the kingdom of the Fourth Beast which is Rome. As Christ also said it would. Rome would later champion the Christian God as God. But later a little horn rises out of that kingdom Rome and uproots three kingdoms and causes the beast to go into perdition. In Revelation the beast has to return to a previous state before it was Christian. It overthrows the Religious, Political and Social power the saints had received when it received the Kingdom of the fourth beast.

The beast going into perdition sets itself up to be worshiped because It champions all men’s gods for its gains. It seeks to regain what it lost to the Church. The people worship the beast threw deception because it got them power over the religious Authority of the Church. It’s their Golden Calf. It frees them in this world to do their will.

This happens because the beast appears as an Angel of light. The beast undermines the Church through the churches own social reform. People are caught up in the cares of this world. The beast attacks the very foundation of the church which was mostly the poor and oppressed. This is why so many saw in the Catholic Church Luther as a son of perdition. But Luther loved his catholic faith and sought religious reform because of corruption and only later after excommunication digressed in justification. It is known that many approached Luther for him to take sides for their purpose but he refused. Luther actually hated that so many would misunderstand what he was trying to do. He ignorantly opened the door for so many who would use him to justify their evil. He ignorantly causes many later to fall away and the further they fall from the traditions of the Church the more powerful the son of perdition comes.
The mark of the beast is those that worship a beast hidden in the beast of the civilized man. It secretly causes the beast to go into perdition. It is the 8th beast hidden in the seven pillars of civilization. It has a religion. It is a symbolic expression taken from the book the Old Testament, and signifies a hidden beast working in a mysterious way, cloaked and concealed by the civilized world ignorant of its real purpose and power.

The civilized man is deceived. The 666 clarifies its intentions. It defines its’motives and the forehead and right hand are metaphors of what’s on their brains and the right hand symbolic for the work they do. They are hidden to those deceived for the deceived ignorantly give their power to it for their gain. Both the seven headed beast and the 8th gain from a relationship as the beast carries the whore. The whore gets her way because certain in the beast get rich from their relationship. Those who by sell and trade with the beast. The beast rises and no one is able to make war with the beast because of its power. But it’s those who worship the beast who are condemned not the whore itself. She shall surely be burned with fire for her whoredoms when the beast learns of the deception. She will undergo trial by fire. She gets rich and does her will not the Lords. She cause many to drink from her cup. A cup that many drink from when this 8th beast first appeared in scripture in the old testament when our Lord had to destroy it.

To understand the 666 one must have certain wisdom. It is the wisdom of a certain person in scripture. And they that worship the 8th beast use that person’s wisdom to do their work for their own purpose, to resurrect their beast. But to do what they want they have to deceive many through a mutual relationship of Material gain. This wealth is used to fund their purpose and intention because they worship mammon instead of God.

The whore that rides the beast.

The whore that is carried by the beast does so through the 8th hidden beast that is of the Seven. It works for her because it gains. The Anti-Christ is of the 8 th beast and deceives those that dwell on the earth. That beast is Anti-Christ, it denies that Jesus came in the Flesh, because those who worship it are non believers for their own gain.

Marcion’s group would also be a canidate…groups which denied that Jesus of Nazareth was a being of human flesh and bones…1 John, 2 John, 3 John was not written to defend Christ’s deity…but his humanity.

I believe that Marcion’s group held great sway in Asia Minor around the time these letters and Apocalypse were written…he viewed the God of the OT as a separate God than the Father God that Jesus revealed…“Jesus” simply appeared on the scene as a spiritual being…similar to other Gnostic groups…Jesus only appeared to suffer…he only appeared to possess a body…he only appeared to be human…“anti-christ” was anyone who denied his humanity…

The concepts were expanded over the centuries…especially after Revelation became canonized…this particular book “struggled” with it’s place in the canon for quite some time.

BUT according to God and written in the Holy Bible, the classification is this:

1 John 2:22 Who is the Liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Messiah. Such a man is the Antichrist—he denies the Father (God) and the Son (Jesus).

In “The Year of Living Biblically” A.J. Jacobs states that the Anti-Christ will be the man whom the Jews consider to be the true prophet. Please not that I’m not being anti-Semitic, I’m just reporting what I’ve read.
 
This isn’t far from the truth of things. Christ makes mention that one might come in his own name and if he does him they will receive. It’s not anti-Semitic to understand or to say such things. Because it’s not our right to judge that which God foresees as something that might happen, and too God will have mercy on whom God will have mercy.

It is interesting to note that Christ used the word “IF” one comes. I think this is the open door to repentance and conversion at least partially in the free will of men. Too God might choose to end things before it happens, maybe because it is the will of the Father? No man knows the day and the hour but the Father. Which might mean that his will triumphs over all? Maybe it’s his mercy that he might cut things short for our sake and the worlds? Christ said, he came and that through him the world might be saved. In the destruction of the temple by Rome in 69 AD the Lord ended his earthly covenant he had made with Israel. The Children of Promise were now predestined to receive their Promise as the Lords knew work toward the salvation of all men in his spiritual covenant.

I think that is the sacred Heart of Christ, a heart of flesh. IMOP as RC we should pray that God be merciful for those in unbelief. So many lost, so many deceived. Truly the deception is great at times for those blinded by their own self preservation and false understanding. So many desire life, but are lost to the way of life eternal. As written; broad is the path to destruction and narrow is the gate of life eternal.
Christ overcame death and hell not because we believed in him but because he believed in us. It’s his mercy and he prayed Father forgive them they know not what they do. In salvation, for our sake the blindness of so many bared fruit unto repentance, mercy, suffering and hope for those who had not known the Lord until he revealed such things to all men. God so Loved the World that he sacrificed his only Son. As Paul states all shall be saved and the Jews blindness became our salvation. We should pray for them at all times and we should pray that the Lord have mercy on those lost.

He that is Anti-Christ works against their conversion as well as works against others salvation. The Tares were sown among the wheat and are to be gathered and burned in the end. If so many branches were cut, that we might be grafted in? The Lord shall surely know how to graft back in those who are beloved of God for election sake. Nothing is impossible for God and who can know what and how God will justify in the end that all shall be saved. Who can know his ways completely? If in election God forgives those who he foreknew as touching election and his will be done. Then truly for our sake that such unbelief has a greater purpose. How much will he forgive those who never knew him? If those that knew him did such things to him. He came unto his own and they received him not. The Lord will have mercy on those he will have mercy. If their blinds brought us salvation. How much more will our belief bring mercy on those lost? Love thy enemies. Truly, Many are our enemies for the “”gospels”” sake, but are beloved of God for election sake.

There is a parable in the scripture spoken to a Pharisee. Who in his mind had reasoned that Christ was a prophet. In his mind he had judged wrongly that Christ would deny a woman that was sinner as she sought to show her love for Christ. She maybe was seeking forgiveness through faith? She desired his forgiveness in certain outward acts of Love.

Parable goes somewhat like this: A certain creditor had two debtors, the one who owed much and for another somewhat less. And neither had any way to pay their dept, the creditor forgave them both. When the Lord asked who loved the creditor the most? (Simon the Pharisee) replied, I guess he that owed him the most. (where there is much sin there is much Dept) Christ said you have rightly answered. About the woman Christ said; she had loved much.

In true conversion? Faith, hope, love and true repentance and a host of other pious acts we all times desire to embrace toward those we seek forgiveness in our faith unto salvation. Unto God or unto men, we all at times seek forgiveness at times. The gentile was a Law unto himself and his conscience was his accuser. In the Jew the Law was given by the Lord. Both Each possessing a law, and each possessing a conscience.
The Lord will have mercy on which he will have mercy. Both had Laws of different requirements but both shared one thing in common and that was a Conscience. The sacrifice appeased the conscience. It doesn’t matter at times in the Law we profess for each had his own. But a conscience is the one thing we all share in common. It’s why Paul spoke, he that defiles his conscience is condemned already.

Denying Christ came in the Flesh is to deny the sacrifice of God. Nearly 2000 years ago God sacrificed for us and to us. If you reject the sacrifice you reject forgiveness. In the truth for thousands of Years men sacrificed to a God or god for forgiveness and to cause their God or god to bless them for their own preservation. Both Israelite and Gentile sought atonement for their sins toward their God in eaches respective faiths. Each had a Law and each had a conscience.

Name the prophet who denied this. If people rejected the prophets announcements than we cannot accuse the religion itself. isnt it?

Where as Mohammed as claimed by muslims to be the last prophet hismelf denied this and hence making it official from islamic point of view and all muslims accepting it

Seems to me that those quotes are about what, not who, the Antichrist is.

I’m pretty much an Idealist when it comes to eschatology. Most of the stuff in the Revelation is symbolic, and most of it speaks to things that the Church is always struggling with or against.

Anyone of us can super-impose what we THINK are the reasons why those writings were made and ‘contextualise’ or rather limit the boundaries in which the definition of the Anti-Christ may be applied.

But Truth be said, anything OUTSIDE of Scripture is corruption. Because God didn’t say it, neither did His apostles.

Da 12:11 "And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days.​

Mt 24:15 “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand),-​

Unless you think the abomination of desolation happened in 70AD, the temple must be rebuilt if it is to happen.

But doesn’t the Bible say that we are the Temple pf God? The abomination of desolation happened in 70 A.D.
