Who would you vote for in America?

I would NEVER vote for a Democrat and I think any true Catholic shouldn’t as they stand for everything not Catholic.
Who knew helping the poor or immigrants or prisoners was considered against Catholicism… honestly, stop painting with such a wide brush, you lose all credibility that way

I just think by voting for Trump you could control damage being done by abortion. By voting for a party who will never win you might as well put my name on the sheet. VOTE FOR KARL
But Trump though? It doesn’t matter how divisive he is, so long as he says he’s against abortion? Like him or hate him, he’s polarizing. Has he helped convince people to be pro-life? Or is he further entrenching the pro-choice movement? What’s the point of voting him in when one, anything he does could be done by another pro-life politician, and two, causes such anger in the American public that they vote in a complete opposite to him who could easily undo everything he did? And unlike you, third party candidates are backed by actual parties and some amount of funding. It is not the same as slapping a random name on a ballot.

American Solidarity Party.

My protest vote for a third party means a lot more to me than choosing between two repugnant (imho) candidates.

If Joe Biden wins in November, you’re going to have Godless leftists
For approximately the eleventy one thousand and oneth time of saying this:-

Democrats are NOT on the Left

The US in practical terms has no Left on its political spectrum, it has the Centre-Right Democrats and the Further-Right Republicans.

OP, in this one if you want the US to have any international standing, whatsoever, then it vote Blue no matter who at this point.

Heeheehee.

As a non-American myself, and with respect for those people who find positive reasons to support either major party in the upcoming election, I’m reminded of a satirical Babylon Bee article from a previous election cycle:

Christians Face Clear Choice Between Party That’s A Hypocritical Mockery Of Their Faith And One That’s Openly Hostile To It
U.S.—Christians voting their conscience have quite a choice this Election Day with the two major political parties.

With the Republicans, Christians have the option of declaring all their beliefs hollow by supporting a party that pays lip service to Christians while it is full of lies, greed, a hostile pose to foreigners, and a cavalier attitude about war. Christians can especially show their hypocrisy by throwing yet more support behind a president who stands anathema to just about every moral standard they’ve previously claimed important while he makes only a marginal effort to show support of faith (though the other day he referred to the second epistle to the Corinthians as “Corinthians 2: Corinthians Harder”).

With the Democrats, though, Christians can basically opt for suicide by giving support to a party that is actively against them, having shown they are very willing to make Christians face trial and lose their jobs for holding the same moral beliefs they’ve held for thousands of years. The only religious belief the Democrats seem to hold dear is that every knee shall bow at the altar of abortion (and pay forced tribute).

“It’s a really interesting choice,” said Christian Tanya Lloyd. “By supporting the Republicans, I’m giving people further ammunition to dismiss my beliefs as an empty cultural pose. At least they like to pretend to be Christian, though, while sometimes it seems like the only thing keeping the Democrats from hunting me down with hunter-seeker drones like from The Terminator is lack of technology.”

However the election turns out, though, Christians express confidence that they’ll be fine since they ultimately put their faith in “a much higher power than either political party” (presumably they’re referring to the Supreme Court).

2016 I did not vote for Trump and I certainly won’t this November. Voted 3rd party in 2016 and I’ll probably write in Bernie Sanders if he’s not on the ballot.

Only way I’d consider voting Biden is based on who his VP is given I don’t trust his long term stability in the role.

I don’t think you could really vote for an abortionist in good conscience?

(Just found another one, haha):

Christian Just Voting For Whichever Political Party Less Likely To Make His Faith Illegal One Day
CENTERVILLE, FL—Local Christian man Larry Michaels admitted Wednesday that he just votes for whichever political party is less likely to make his faith illegal one day.

Michaels often votes for one party over the other but confessed he only does so because they’re not outright antagonistic toward the core tenets of Christianity.

“I don’t particularly love the party I usually vote for, but hey! They’re a little less likely to one day outlaw my faith,” he told a friend, also stating that while he doesn’t really love politics, it’s probably better to hold your nose and prevent an openly anti-Christian candidate from taking office.

The man is often accused of selling out his faith for the purpose of political power, but he just shrugged. “I mean, I don’t really care to win the culture wars or anything. But the candidates I support tend to be slightly more prone to just leave me alone.”

At publishing time, Christians who abstained from voting were silently thankful that people like Michaels are willing to do the dirty work of voting in self-defense.
Seriously it’s an amusing site. Y’all should check it out. 😄 👍

Okay I think you get what I mean. They are a very un Christian group who think it’s okay to murder vulnerable unborn babies and support gay marriage.
Stop painting with such a wide brush.
And Liberals don’t help the poor and immigrants any more than Republicans do.
This is laughably wrong.

I’m on the Commission for Peace and Justice for my diocese. All 12 of us are Democrats as no Republicans wanted to join. But I guess both parities like to help the poor evenly… have some common sense

I hear ya, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Biden maintains the standard Democratic party line as opposed the left extremist views.

It’s possible to be Democratic and reverent.

And I can’t vote for someone who has had multiple affairs, potential sexual assaults, and is supported by the KKK in good conscience.

I would vote for Hillary Clinton, because she is pro-Ukrainian. She is educated, beautiful lady and really charismatic leader.

Same here. Though sometime I’d like to do what Mark Twain did and write in a dead politicians name with the reasoning that a corpse couldn’t do as much damage.
