Why are Americans universally despised today?

No one is denieing that the United States and other Western countries do not contribute to humanitarian aid and the like…my point was, however, that we could all afford to contribute a whole lot more. The fact remains that there are not enough resources on this planet to support a Western life-style for all humanity…it’s simply impossible. Why is it OK for just us to live this lifestyle then? How many Westerners give, as individuals, until it hurts? (Yes, some do…but not most).

What a shock. I didn’t think there were any wild west nations besides the States. Must be a lot cowboys living there.
