Not sure I have just one reason, but I do like it here. It can be stressful when many of us get a little heated (sometimes unneccessarily)

Haven’t tasted the coffee and cookies yet, but that would do it for me.
My curiosity and desire to understand Catholicism is far from idle. After all, much of what I know and understand about Christ comes from the teachings that go back to the Apostles.

I believe that if we come to understand one another better, the Holy Spirit has a better chance of leading us to unity. I don’t believe in “sheep stealing.” I would not try to convince a Catholic to become Lutheran although if one were to express a desire to do so I would help them discern where the Holy Spirit was leading them. On the other side of the coin, I would not seek to discourage a Lutheran from becoming Catholic if they were convinced that is where they belong.
Personally, if I discerned that the Holy Spirit were leading me to Catholicism, I would be doing some serious prayer and contemplation about what I should do.

Hello,
As a muslim , i was invited here by a protestant minister. he said that people on this forum have questions on Islam.
Most questions i get have hostile intent , i would say 65% , but some are sincere . I am here on the for the following reasons:-
1- Answer sincere questions on Islam and try to correct misunderstandings
2- Keep updated on the latest fashion and trends on Islam and muslim bashing.
3- Have a glimpse on what a lot of christians think about in terms of faith.
As i understand this section is for non catholic religions. Thus i do not see my self distracting on any topic that is exclusevly related to catholicism. What are YOU doing in the non catholic area of the forum lol.

I joined because my husband is Catholic, and I wanted to learn more about the Catholic point of view. So far it’s been very informative, but also in many ways very discouraging as well

Why not just put us Former or non Catholics on a space ship and send us to a another Planet. How about building a wall and forcing the “Prots” to stay in sector 9. What kind of question is that anyway? Your atttiude against fellow humans scares me. Why the hate for Non Catholics. Why do I vist this blog? I find it amusing how some catholic attack other christian groups and the thread question such as this one are so mean spirited.
Then again you could just burn us at the stake like in the old days. ( please use dry wood for me )

Because up until about 2 weeks ago I had never stepped foot in a Catholic Church and now I spend my week looking forward to going back.
There is not much that I have not heard from the Protestant beliefs after spending 20 years in a Protestant Church. So, I enjoy reading the Catholic responses to things that I have believed my whole life.
