Most of the tires here are all-weather.
Some places you’re not allowed to have chains because they chew up the asphalt, but my parents used them back in the Paleolithic days when I was a kid…

I’ve only driven in snow once,in the Victorian Alps.
End of snow season so it wasn’t too bad 🙂

I haven’t caught up with this thread in awhile, but I can’t stop laughing at this post!!

Your posts can always make me laugh, and I know that I told you that before!

You have a really great sense of humor, and I can always count on you to make me laugh!

That’s what I really love about my CAF friends…

You are all so much fun to hang out with…you are all so very funny and witty, and can really make me laugh!

God bless you! 😀

Yes…

My husband and I were talking about the days when our Dads would actually put snow tires on the car for the Winter.

You’re not allowed to put chains on anymore here. You can still get snow tires here if you want them, but most people get the all-weather kind of tires.

Most cars come with traction control and anti-lock brakes now, too, and that helps when driving in the rain and snow.

Coming soon to a Catholic Church near you…

Anybody else having trouble making and leaving replies on topics???

I’m replying to myself, this reply had no trouble. Maybe trouble is for troubled posts???

Just you, Petra. But maybe since it’s Epiphany tech support will show up soon and give you a helping hand…

OK, I’m feeling kind of lonely here now with no replies.

Maybe I will just get a cat then. (or maybe a fish…or perhaps both, in case one dies…always good to have a backup.)
