i do believe they tend to trust God a little more than Catholics… and some Catholics on this forum would put demons to shame… in the rude-ness department…
but no, they are not “better”… They are not holier… without holiness it is impossible to please God…
and without the Holy Church Christ established, how can one be holy? I mean* truly* holy - as in… purified… as in not selfish… as in doing things Jesus’ way and not our own…
Protestants, some saint said, spend more time in Purgatory than Catholics… because they don’t believe their sins have to be cleansed off their souls… Tehy think Jesus did absolutely everything for them 2000 years ago and now…
Jesus did do everything… He did everything He was supposed to do… to bring us to Himself… to give Himself to us 100%… (Eucharist)… But what if we do not accept???

The 28-year study of 5,286 Californians found that frequent attenders of religious services had lower death rates, were more likely to stop smoking, exercised more, had more social contacts and stayed married longer than those who rarely or never attended church or other religious groups.
The religious faiths represented in the study were primarily Christian and included Protestants, Catholics, Fundamentalists, Seventh Day Adventist/Mormons and others/none.

Lifespan depends on things like:- health of parents
- employment
- housing
- access to health care
- social stability
- diet
- psychological health
- sexual behaviour
- etc.
An unemployed Catholic in South Africa whose mother smoked heavily & contracted AIDS in an insanitary maternity ward is unlikely to reach the age of 75 - an atheist living in Central London who looks after his health may very well do so.
