Why doesn't God heal homosexuals?

Anyhow not mostly something does not say much…sounds like someone was hesitant. If something is 0% x it still is not mostly x. Based on the data he had he interpreted as he did…however, he should have further investigated…If all anyone ever saw was Kansas, people might think the world is flat.
Sorry was that a yes or a no? I find it very suspicious that you can’t answer a very straight forward question without resorting to word salad games. I’m starting to think you are intellectually dishonest so if you can’t answer then i can’t discuss the second study with you, which i want to very much.

This thread is an example of what makes me think Catholics and their religion are obsessed with sex! I can’t help but feel like God is having a good laugh over this. Sometimes things aren’t nearly as complicated as we humans make them out to be.

A certain type of Catholic is, in personality terms they are what we call “high orderliness, high withdrawal” personality types. Please don’t think we are all like that.

Neither person who relies on an incomplete study were correct. The Bailey study did not further investigate. People use to say the Earth was flat because they did not further investigate…they were all wrong.
And if you had been around before then would you have been a round-earther rather than a flat-earther?

If you interpret what he said to mean that there is a genetic component then the answer is No, that is incorrect. Further investigation into identical twin studies shows that conclusion would be false.

I didn’t interpret anything, Diamond & Rosky did. So are they wrong?

I pray not : ) . And thank God that others did not and further investigated to discover that the Earth is round. I don’t understand why the other guy is so bent on making a conclusion on an incomplete study. It does not make sense to me…I my quirky scientific thinking.

It’s not even incomplete. It’s fundamentally flawed. But hey-ho. They have to get their funding somehow… 🙂

Note that it’s an “incomplete study” that they introduced to the conversation to defend their own arguement.

Ha ha…they look identical because of some other reason. Identical twins look more identical than my right side looks like my left. You know that’s not s scientific study right? No correlation, no sited references, references only identical twins once otherwise generalizes to twins that could mean any twin. Even if there were genetical anomalies due to mutation or genetic transfers this article in no way would effect the results of the articles provided. The articles I provided indicated there is no genetic link. This article has no significance on the results of the articles I provided.

Funding is important. However, a scientist should consider all possibilities and this one did not. He did not do further studies as other scientist have.

1st step, start with a identical twin study…good but there may be other factors need more studies…any conclusion would be based on incomplete analysis.

2nd step, perform a more accurate study to rule out environment more factors such as identical twins separated at birth. Correlation is now 0%.

That’s not true and I don’t appreciate your personal attack. What are your degree’s in genetics and biochemistry science? Do you have any technical qualifications to say that your understanding of this subject area is more educated than mine?

I read the studies and they don’t even claim what you say they do. My qualifications are that I can read English. That’s all that’s required to see that what you are saying isn’t true. That’s why you can’t answer a simple question which is plain to see. The only quotes you provided are from the abstract which suggests you are bluffing and haven’t actually read the full studies.

Do you think its perhaps because its normal? Meaning just like a person has sexual temptations, and its illogical to want to stop them, maybe homosexuality is a temptation afterall? Maybe that’s why there’s no miraculous cure?
I don’t think so. The lack of attraction to the opposite sex is not a temptation - it is the absence of what is normal.

True homosexuality is actually pretty rare. Most ‘homosexuals’ are actually bisexuals who get shunned out of other communities until they find a home in the LGBT community.
I imagine this is true of some persons. Do you have any data to quantify the spread? A great many persons in same sex sexual relationships assure us they have no interest in the opposite sex (or if they do, it is very much reduced). I doubt they are all brain-washed. To be meaningful, “bisexual” must be such that the level of attraction to each sex is not too different.
