Why I am Drifting from Catholicism to Islam

I described myself as a never/nominal at best, secret Muslim, here to practice “Moslem simplemindedness”?

You are a non-Christian who is wandering toward becoming a moslem, and “sharing with us” that the Holy Trinity and the Crucifixion, which just HAPPEN to be the two MOST OFTEN Christian premises used to “sway the simpleminded” away from Christianity by moslems, are your TWO MOST INFLUENTIAL reasons for moving toward islam!

Those were the two primary reasons that came to mind in an emotional outburst, if you asked me what the primary intellectual causes they’d be different.

Tell you what (speaking of history and education and such): if you ever become a really big girl, all grown up and everything and you earn a few worthwhile degrees - like in Theology and Philosophy and maybe, even History - and then you can decide that you might be fit to teach others about faith and THEN, get back to me. Just think if I posted what mohammed did?! (enslaved, stole, lied, tortured and killed people) Since telling you to read a few books on the subject would fall flat - how about this website?

Muhammad led 27 military campaigns against innocent villages and caravans & planned 38 others. this is what this website said about how many battles and razas (raids) that he led - some say he did more, some say less - but he did do quite a number.

Your practicing “moslem simplemindedness” very well indeed, though, and should you choose that path the practice will help you in being a “good moslem”…

My description of a typical moslem, as well as a typical Christian for that matter, is one who doesn’t know what they should know, usually due to lack of interest or time, giving them a rather superficial understanding (a simplemindedness) of “things revealed” to us by God.

But islam is inherently more simpleminded in that it specifically refuses to admit to the truth of the revelation of God as triune not for historical reasons, as is Jewish tradition due to God not “being convincing enough” in showing them His triunity, but because of islamic simpleminded materialism, they think a “Son of God” would have be created by God physically doing-the-nasty with that son’s mother!

This is not an insult of islam. It is a description of islam’s “odd” reasoning, and refusal of divine revelation.
