Are you trying to prove white and blacks were equally discriminated in the USA?
Not to mention it was rarely (if ever) racially motivated like it was with black victims.White people were not lynched at the same rate as blacks in the south.
I’m sure that was of great comfort to the lynched White man. He could rest easy in his grave knowing he wasn’t killed because of his race. Not to mention it was rarely (if ever) racially motivated like it was with black victims.
What connection are you trying to make here? I don’t understand. Are you saying CAF is all conservatives? Because I don’t get how that comment came up in this thread.CAF responses make me never want align with the conservative party.
Snowy brethren? Wow. Just wow. I’ve never seen openly racist statements on CAF until today.Who were those poor whites lynched by, pray tell? What it those doggone blacks stringing up those helpless souls? Or was it their snowy brethren that perpetrated these heinous acts?
Seriously. This is obtuse.
It should be rather obvious. When you exclude a group based on race that is racist. By excluding Whites who were lynched from the memorial the memorial is racist. How is it racist to memorialize the lynchings over centuries of nameless black men? They’ve been forgotten. Who is it racist towards anyways?
Stupid liberals, out there bein’ all educated and socially concerned. Some people made it seem as though liberals are the evil seed of this generation.
I must assume this is your first day, then. Do you also find the title of Disney’s iconic masterpiece “Snow White” to be racist? Lol.Snowy brethren? Wow. Just wow. I’ve never seen openly racist statements on CAF until today.
So? Are you in favor of non racially motivated lynch mobs killing people? The lynchings of white people probably weren’t racially motivated.
Yep, that is the idea, to be racist. We don’t have in our times memorials specifically to White people. There isn’t a Vietnam memorial to all the White men drafted and killed in Vietnam. No!!! I think the idea is to memorialize the the numerous unnamed black people thoroughout American history not to deny white lynchings didn’t happen.
Most white Americans have the blessing of knowing our ethnic subdivisions: you can easily find memorials across the country dedicated to Irish Americans, German Americans, Polish Americans, French Americans, Italian Americans, etc. Most African Americans, on the other hand, were purposefully cut off from their roots as a direct result of slavery. We don’t have in our times memorials specifically to White people.
