I think birth control is wrong and pretty unhealthy as well. I do not practice it.
Why are you singling out black women? Why do you think black women in NYC have a higher abortion rate than birth rate?
Most likely because she was more faithful to her political beliefs than she was to the beliefs of her religion. This happens on both sides of the political spectrum. If you place your political party before the Catholic Church, you will most likely not be a good Catholic.e said because the Catholic Church is against gay marriage. She is a straight married woman with kids. Why would a straight married woman care so much about the church not accepting gay marriage? Do you think she is secretly a lesbian? It does not make sense to me why a straight person would leave the church over that.
Did she really believe in God in the first place? Or does she worship gay people and wants?
worship gay people?Or does she worship gay people and wants?
I would suggest that St. Paul provided us with an answer (but not necessarily the entire answer) to this question in his second letter to Timothy:My coworker used to be Catholic. When i asked why she no longer goes to church, she said because the Catholic Church is against gay marriage. She is a straight married woman with kids. Why would a straight married woman care so much about the church not accepting gay marriage?
For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own likings, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander into myths. (2 Timothy 4:3-4)
The US population is still growing due to immigration. Since approx 2010, the US fertility rate has been below replacement levelsMonica83:![]()
The population in the US is not exactly decreasing. Between July 1, 2014 and July 1, 2017, the population increased from 318.56 million to 325.15 million or 6.59 million in three years. If we’re worried about population sustainability, there’s always immigration, isn’t there?Where on Earth do you live? In all Western countries birth rate is below population sustainability…in Europe-well below.
And where I live in California, the population has increased from 15.72 million in 1960 (I was born in 1961) to 39.54 million last year. The population in California is projected to reach 50 million by 2050. That means that cities are becoming much more crowded than what they used to be. Water, in particular, is becoming a problem. The water supply will have to be increased to meet the rising demands both for people and for agriculture, but the ability to do this is limited.
LOL I’m not the one who said black women in NYC abort more babies than they birth. And unless your source has verifiable stats from a reliable source, she’s making equally racist comments. Why repeat them? What do they add to the conversation other than an opportunity to inject the idea?Mmmk. Race baiting is a bit low Pup. http://www.politifact.com/texas/sta...a-meyer-says-more-black-babies-are-aborted-n/
Irrelevant to the point I made.I think birth control is wrong and pretty unhealthy as well. I do not practice it.
What I said was it was a borderline racist comment, and it was.Snap accusing someone of racism because of facts is race baiting. Sorry to inform you.
Your comment initially provided no backing, no quote, no stat. Just that black women in NYC abort more babies than they birth. No support, nothing. So I said that’s borderline racist.Um…the data is from a NYC govt report. Facts aren’t racist, Pup. I’m sorry you don’t like them. I don’t like the stat for another reason. Because it means secular progressive policies are failing black women and would fail immigrants as well.
