I googled “Evolutionary psychology” and read about the criticisms of it, of which there appear to be quite a lot. I am not making a determination, it just appears that even those who subscribe to evolutionary psychology accept that it either can be falsified or can only be falsified through a great effort, which has of yet not been exerted.

I’m not gonna just blindly accept evolutionary psychology as fact.
 
I am, evolution literally does happen. Whether you believe it does or not.

Evolution literally occurs at all the taxonomical levels. This is a well established fact.

Without context, the word “family” can mean all kinds of things. I’m sorry for not anticipating the intended meaning of the word in this usage.

Nobody was asking you to. You asked where I thought these moral characteristics came from and I explained. You wanted to know more so I gave you a primer. End of story.
 
So your belief in evolutionary psychology, is just that, a belief. It is unproven by science, yet you belief in it, nonetheless.
 
I guess if you wanted to. I don’t know why you’d want to do that.

Also, you’d clearly be violating Catholic teachings by doing that.

I’m not here to educate you. But you base that comment not on your opinions but those of others. Without, I think it’s plainly obvious, knowing anything at all about the subject whatsoever.

If you ask questions I will do my best to answer them and I will accept your arguments against what I say. But they have to be your arguments.

Be my guest. Not exactly Father of The Year material but it’s your call. One assumes you’d think it right to be able to do that. Not sure why you’d teach your kids to do what you consider to be wrong.

I am here to learn though. I don’t have an opinion on evolutionary psychology one way or the other. I am deferring to those who know more than me on the subject.

I not saying it’s right or wrong. I’m saying that it appears to me to be unfalsifiable. AKA, “It’s not even wrong”.
