It’s only the answer when you ask questions relating to it.Bradskii:![]()
Oh, I see. Evolution is truly amazing…Evolved characteristics. They enabled societies to form. Lucky us.
The answer always is - evolution.

Correct…Species and genus occur before family.
Nobody was asking you to. You asked where I thought these moral characteristics came from and I explained. You wanted to know more so I gave you a primer. End of story.I googled “Evolutionary psychology” and read about the criticisms of it, of which there appear to be quite a lot. I am not making a determination, it just appears that even those who subscribe to evolutionary psychology accept that it either can be falsified or can only be falsified through a great effort, which has of yet not been exerted.

And if I teach them that raping your child is OK, you still would be OK?Be my guest.
I am here to learn though. I don’t have an opinion on evolutionary psychology one way or the other. I am deferring to those who know more than me on the subject.I’m not here to educate you. Leda Cosmides: ‘Those who have a professional knowledge of evolutionary biology know that it is not possible to cook up after the fact explanations of just any trait. There are important constraints on evolutionary explanation. More to the point, every decent evolutionary explanation has testable predictio…
