Oh boy, I’ve been talking to a conspiracy theorist. #facepalm

Preventing disease is NOT a bad thing. Do you like disease?

Certain diseases at young ages have good long term effects.

We abandoned phage research at the advent of penicillin.

Yeah, but in the United States, abortion is literally not murder. Divine law doesn’t apply in the US. Do Catholics in the US have to follow the laws of other countries or their own? What happened to “render unto Ceasar”?

It is “thou shall not kill”. No exceptions.
That is not Catholic teaching. See Just War Catholic Teaching.

That’s false and extremely scary to think that people think that way.

How is that compatible with a pro-life world view? Do you like that people die of preventable diseases?

What? This is common knowledge. The plague survivors went on and their lifespans got longer. Most will not get HIV either.

Explosions like this occur after extinctions because there are no niches which have been filled yet. After an extinction, there are many more ‘empty slots’ for life to fill, so species will evolve to fit them.

You get the whole box and dice with Buffalo.
No evolution: tick
Against immunisation: tick
World a few thousand years old: tick
The ark: tick
No climate change: tick

Haven’t checked the moon landing and 9/11 yet. But you can see a trend here I’m sure.

So if we have a new version of the plague…? 'No, don’t immunise! The survivors will live longer! Oh, hang on…what’s this rash…?

I been watching this thread for a week wondering if anything comes up my atheist views could actually contribute.

Sadly you been dealing with Buffalo who reminds me of a kid who implied in philosophy class that if God was proven false he would go on a murder spree.

Doesn’t matter that we have laws and concepts of common good. Let’s just sharpen up some knives and get purging.

Such narrow mindedness.

PS: I do loath to be uncharitable but I think it bares saying when you are painted into a corner of your own design you have no one to blame but yourself.
No moon landing yet. But here’s another three. The first that 9/11 was the fault of Saddam Hussein (and he hid all the WMDs in the sand somewhere).

'Interview with Sabah Khodada - PBS

That was your reaction on September 11 – that some of these people might be involved?

I assure you, this operation was conducted by people who were trained by Saddam. And I’m going to keep assuring the world this is what happened.’

And we have geocentrism to add to the list:

'
Can anyone name one experiment that has proven that the earth moves?

Airey’s failure was not one of them.’

And “JFK Involved In Cancer Causing Monkey Virus Horror”:

'Dr. Mary’s Monkey: How the Unsolved Murder of a Doctor, a Secret Laboratory in New Orleans and Cancer-Causing Monkey Viruses are Linked to Lee Harvey … Assassination and Emerging Global Epidemics

The 1964 murder of a nationally known cancer researcher sets the stage for this gripping exposé of medical professionals enmeshed in covert government operations over the course of three decades. Following a trail of police records, FBI files, cancer statistics, and medical journals, this revealing book presents evidence of a web of medical secret-keeping that began with the handling of evidence in the JFK assassination and continued apace, sweeping doctors into coverups of cancer outbreaks, contaminated polio vaccine, the arrival of the AIDS virus, and biological weapon research using infected monkeys.’

It’s entertaining at least.

I see once again you resorted to rule #1. When you can not refute the arguments always attack or mock the poster. Nice…

Was the Cobe, Plank and WMAP satellite data wrong that shows the earth in a special place?

Hey, I only posted what you had said. It is for others to mock should they wish. I’m just the guy shining a bright light on your beliefs.

Do you think there is something to chem trails, too?

Just curious…
Nope. None of this should matter. Stick to the data and evidence I offer on the particular subject. Then make a counterargument without ad hominems.
