Adam and Eve were created with bodily immortality, that is, they were created to live for eternity. After original sin their lifespan was limited. Can you provide generally accepted scientific proof of your claim?

You didn’t answer my question. Can you provide generally accepted scientific proof of your claim?
Lol. Really? You are that prejudiced? Clearly you are not here to learn.Okay, I just need to hear you say that humans did not live for 600 years. If you can say that, we can still have a real conversation.
If you can’t come to that conclusion, we ought not continue
There is no proof; it is an assumption. Where’s your proof they didn’t.Can you provide generally accepted scientific proof of your claim?
Science and common sense. There is no proof; it is an assumption. Where’s your proof they didn’t.
We are talking about a longevity in good health and the capacity to have children into the many hundreds of years. Clearly, originally created to live eternally, we would have the capacity for regeneration not found today. For example, tooth wear after 200 years would be substantially more than tooth wear after 70 years.
This offers no information, no argument, but it does reveal the sort of thinking that stops thinking short. It’s another bar in the cognitive cage that keeps the spirit protected, but unable to soar. To quote the Bard, “There are more things in heaven and earth, (Hope), than are dreamt of in your philosophy.”Aloysium:![]()

Straw man.And there is the divide.
Science is over here.
Religion is over there.
Clearly, for some, God did not do anything. Only natural, non-God/gods forces did.
On a Catholic forum, Divine Revelation provides the complete picture.
How could I have missed these; please link.Plenty of us have also brought both sceince and theology together when explaining how we think things happen.
Science says our genome is in decay.Science and common sense.
To someone who knows more about this subject than I do, is buffalo correct about this or not?Science and common sense.
But the natural man does not perceive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness unto him; neither can he understand them because they are spiritually discerned.Aloysium:![]()

If God can bring a dead corpse back to life… then he can also sustain the flesh and prevent it from ageing.Talking to you now. Things are the way they are now, and I don’t need proof to validate that we can only live 100ish years. To challenge the status quo, you would need to provide proof that this isn’t the way it naturally is.
Another way of putting it – wild anybody believe humans lived 900 years if it weren’t written in the Bible?
You give me too little credit. I am here to teach and learn, but to learn, I have to be given credible information, rather than biblical hyperliteralism that is clinged to to the death to prove save face. If you can legitimately present reasons that humans can and have lived near 1000 years, I’m all ears
