Will America become socialist now that Biden has basically won?

Could you explain, in summary, what Lewis’ point was in that excerpt?
You know what, Harry, you can have Lewis. I bow before his boundless intellect. If you’re going to test me on him, forget it.

I just find it weird because we were having a conversation and you feel the need to come in with a personal attack about self-importance because I’m not a fan of your guy. Oh well.
I expected that.

The way you criticize thinkers is to demonstrate persuasively where their thinking went awry.

It isn’t to make bold claims about their mediocrity.
Harry, we’re on a message board. I don’t feel the need to write long essays demonstrating why I find a claim unpersuasive, or why I find a thinker shallow and kind of boring.

If you do, hey, that’s cool. Everyone needs a hobby.

I have no idea what Lewis is saying in the text that you copied. If you understand it, would you explain it to me?

I live in a country with free medical care and free college tuition (American abroad, in Scotland). Also, we have religious liberty, freedom of speech, and expression. Its not so bad folks. As a matter of fact - when I hear my american family and friends falling to pieces because of copays - Im so freaking grateful my husband, kids, and myself get all the care and meds we need - no stress. Thank you God for the NHS!

Believe me, America is not becoming “socialist” - its SO capitalist, and will remain so, no matter who is in office. I hope it becomes a little less capitalist.

And Giuliani has just said (following the Supreme Court telling him to take a hike) that the American people need to see the evidence of the fraud!

Hasn’t he been doing that in the fifty-odd cases put before umpteen courts so far? And failed in them all? He is in serious danger of being classed by one of the next courts in which he presents his ‘evidence’ as a vexatious litigator.

  1. America will become far more socialistic.
  2. Civil rights will be clamped down on.
  3. The Church will be oppressed and openly discriminated against.
  4. China will gain more leverage over the US, as Biden will be a compromised president.
  5. Look at Biden’s prospective cabinet: Nothing more than Obama 2.0. A subversive end-run around the 22nd Amendment.
  6. It is sad to see a mentally declining man exploited and turned into a sock puppet.
  7. America will still survive - even if crippled - but Taiwan may not. Certain Southeast Asian nations may not.

Isn’t democracy a wonderful thing.

More socialistic than under Trump perhaps, but not that much more. Biden does not believe in Medicare for All or even that much in the Green New Deal. He is not very socialistic.

But after the Christ Returns, America (and the whole world) will become socialistic. The Christ is definitely much more to the left than Biden.

That’s a nightmare that is.

But your point misses the point that a legitimate hand count was not done in Georgia, proved by the fact that Kemp is again calling for one. Kemp’s reasons for calling for a complete signature matching audit (typically what a hand count is) are irrelevant to the point.
Ballots aren’t signed for obvious reasons. In-person voters sign the poll book, mail voters sign the envelope. By the time the ballots are being counted (first time or subsequent, hand or machine) there is nothing to tie each one to the individual voter, by design. Signature matching, to whatever degree of competence it is performed, is done earlier when the voter comes in or the mailed vote is received.

How do you imagine that a recount can even involve signature matching?
