1 million new voters, who are they and why have they not chosen to vote in the past.elections.in Georgia
You know voter registrations are public information, right? You can go right now and look at who registered to vote in Georgia and any state.

Is that not what they are trying to do with recounts and these groups looking at ballots. Recounts are so important.

Pennsylvania…

At 1 o’clock in the morning day November 4th Trump was ahead by 700,000 votes when votes stopped counting.

Ohio

Where they counted the mail in votes first, started election night with a huge lead for Biden, which shocked people. Then the election day votes were counted, and Biden’s lead evaporated.

There aren’t any Democrats complaining about that. Why? Because it’s perfectly understandable.

If you’re upset at the order of vote counting in Pennsylvania you should complain to the state’s Republican legislature.

Over 700,000 new voters in Pennsylvania
I think you are counting votes instead of registered voters.
Over
700,000 new voters in PA with little population increase so where did they all come from. Trump was ahead at 1AM by 700.000 votes(Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)

Biden was ahead of by 200,000 and lost. but it was very close. Trump was ahead by 700,000 votes in PA(Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)

so where did they all come from.
Start counting a jar of pennies. Stop when you think you are half way through. Come back later and count the rest of the pennies. Write down the new number.

Gasp!

Where did all those additional pennies come from!

I have a feeling that the youth came out and voted in much larger numbers than are typical. Normally the 18 to 30 year olds are much smaller voters than their numbers.

I watched the lines at the polling station near me for a little and I was kind of surprised at the youth of the lines.

From what I’ve heard, Pennsylvania doesn’t count any mail in votes until after the polls are closed and reported…then they begin the mail in votes. I’m also interested in what the political makeup of mail in voters are. While I know it leans heavily to the Democrats, I’m curious as to by how much!

I understand they start processing the mail in votes in one county the day after the election.

I think that would be true if it were not for all these mail in ballot that no one trusts - 1 million new voters, who are they and why have they not chosen to vote in the past.elections.in Georgia - alone.
I would like to point out to you that Georgia’s governor is a Republican, Georgia’s legislature is controlled by Republicans.
Georgia’s secretary of state, is a Republican.

To put it bluntly it is the Republicans who are in charge of making election laws for the state. It is the Republicans who have made the laws to petmit mail in voting. And the Republicans in Georgia had the power to change the laws if they had chosen to do so.
Are they not competent enough to run their state elections?
I think any complaints you have right now about Georgia, falls squarely on the Georgian Republicans

Pennies are not people or new voters.

Many of the colleges are still on remote so this idea that massive youth came out does not hold. Trump was ahead in about 6 states at 12 pm, and then all voting stopped.

The votes that are not for Trump are all the mail in ballots that no one know where they came from. When you go into a voting place, you need to show ID. There are 1 million new voters in Georgia so where did they all come from. The population is the same and so it makes no sense that 1 million more people who have not voted in the past voted this year in Georgia and over 700,000 new voters in PA.

It is important that this election is honest especially with all these mail in ballots… Ballots need to be checked and recounts need to be done.

What does colleges not holding classes in person have to do with voting?
I agree…what difference does that make? Plus, those that voted in person would be in their home districts due to online school. And…not everyone is in college.

Pennies are not people
I am trying to establish some foundations of basic math. For that, pennies and people do equally well.
I have a feeling that the youth came out and voted in much larger numbers than are typical.
I also think that people that may have been uninvolved or apathetic before were motivated to vote. When I went to vote, there was a bell that would ring and people that cheered when a first-time-voter checked in. When I saw this happening for adults much older than I.

I just read a story online about two very senior citizens voting for the first time. That just floored me. I believe they were both in their 90’s…I know one was…the story said nothing about who they voted for, just that we’re finally motivated to vote.

I’m 68 and have never missed ANY election since I first was able to vote…at 21 back then!

I’m not quite there yet, but I’m can at least say I have been voting for more than half my life.

Votes cannot be counted until the polls close. The same day vote procedures are simpler and well established, while the mail ins require opening two envelopes each, scanning and then it can be treated like same day vote. It seems like mail in counting is done at county level, rather than in precincts/wards like the sameday votes.

This is from the PA elections website.Election day votes were Trump 2.7 m to 1.4 m for Biden 65/35%. Mail in was Biden 1.94 to .58 for Trump 80/20%. ( percentages are approximations) is that what you wanted to know?

Yes, thank you very much. I knew that the majority of mail ins were D, but I had no idea it was so high. I wonder if that held true throughout the rest of the country as well and how much it varied? Once all is said and done, I’m going to dive into the stats for each state that had mail ins…for some odd reason, I enjoy doing it! :hugs:

College kids tend not to vote to begin with now they are remote, there is less likely that they would have these higher levels.

No is buying it was college kids who were the new 1 million voters in Georgia. Georgia again has not voted for a Democrat president since 1980. It switched and voted one time only for Clinton in 1992.
