I don’t know I don’t speak like this. Again Listen to what he say’s. We can start with the Muslim ban. How about all those woman and children coming up from South America last week… He is really good at creating boogymen. I do not name call or try to belittle anyone I speak to. And I do not have such an agenda that I would try to bait someone in any way. Heck I have no agenda at all. But anyway back to the subject in hand. Again… this muslim ban rhetoric and these woman and children coming from SA are your subjective thinking on what is going on. Many people see these things quite different from you. For instance “Muslim Ban” This is error as he did not Ban all muslims and he is not intending to ban muslims. He and many people would like to get better vetting of individuals cominmg in from certain areas. He is not banning muslims. You continue to use incorrect and inaccurate terms to describe what is happening. This can actually be seen as lying by some. I will not accuse you of that however because I do not know if you are deleberatley doing so.

Folks crossing the southern border has been going down over the last 17 or so years. I do not think the border wall would do much good other then the feel good thing. I can understand this and I think it would deter people from crossing and make it easier for border control to find those that do cross but is it worth the cost and the political capitol… probably not!

If you want to call folk race baiter then go ahead. But that could be no more then a deflection. It is not a deflection I’m only commenting one your own words. They are your words you own them! If you want to recant what you said I will likewise take race-baiting of the table!

Look you can surely believe what you want to. I have no issues with that. I will leave that at that. As to what I see. will not change at all. I have been blessed so far to have lived 61ish years on this earth. I have been blessed by how my parents have raised me. I grew up during the Civil rights movement. The images of how some folk were treated. And the ugly words spoke by some. And the words “this is not a good time to change all this” spoke by others. That has not left me. I see and I listen. And I will speak out. My only agenda is to not let history repeat itself.

One rainy day, I saw my neighbor in his house with an open umbrella over his head. I asked him why? And he told me his roof was leaking and he didn’t want to get wet.

A week or so later, I passed his house again and he was lying in his hammock drinking a beer. “Did you fix the leak in your roof?” I asked.

“I didn’t have to,” he said, “Now that it’s stopped raining, it’s not leaking any more!”

Sounds good! Cause I just watch and observe what you write down. I call what you said race baiting. As you can see it is easy for someone to say something about what you said and put their lense on it. Maybe you should take that to heart and think about it when someone you do not agree with says something.

Oh I am quite sure there are tons of folk who may not believe what or how I believe. And you know what that is ok with me. That is what this Country was founded on. But I will not sit by idly by when it is at the expense of others or a group of others. I am just not wired that way. I am not into that broad stroke of the brush thing. Meaning no disrespect you can take that to heart. Anyway the southern wall in my opinion is a waste of money and time. Other then the feel good thing.

Well it is good to know there are others like me out there. As a matter of fact I was going to respond to that exact issue I have when it comes to me seeing individuals or groups being targeted by innuendo and accusations which is why I stood up to the race baiting you said about Trump. Of course back in the day I spent more time talking with my fists than my fingers when it came to helping out someone I felt was being mistreated. I’m glad my fingers are getting more of a work out nowadays.
I believe it may very well be a waste of money also I also believe, if built properly, the wall would do what it is meant to do.
 
I can honestly say I have never struck someone in anger. And I do not recall ever being struck in anger. Even when I served. I recall my Drill Sgt. trying to push my buttons though. They were surly a lot “Nicer” the week we qualified with our weapon. And I think if it came down to it. If I would ever hit someone or be hit for my beliefs. I would like to think I would choose being hit. But I am human and like all of us flawed to some degree…

I would tend to agree. But this thread is about the southern wall. It but just a deflection.
 
So Trump went from being praised for his help of Blacks to being a racist? And all of the claims of racism are based on uncharitable interpretations of his motives. None of his actual words hint of racism.

Then what happened to you to make you lose so much of your knowledge? Why would you say something so stupid? Build a wall to stop a single illegal immigrant? Are you sure you majored in economics?
 
Well, you obviously know nothing about economics. Economics doesn’t answer the question of what a person values. That is individual psychology, sociology etc. I am sure I majored in econ. And I’m sure you know nothing about it but worse you don’t know you know nothing about it.

If you majored in economics you would know we like a lot of things whenever someone else is paying for them. That doesn’t mean those things are prudent.
 
Right. That is the fatal flaw of democracy. You get to make other people pay for what you want.

Paying for an entire wall so that one single person doesn’t creep into the USA is NOT worth the money.

If you honestly do not understand this than you have failed your professors on a phenomenal level, and in turn, yourself.
