Obama is irrelevant.Neither did Obama from when he took office in 2009. And if he could have given himself a 3rd term I am sure he would have taken it!

This in no way explains how I am dangerous to others because I support President Trump.I think it is clearly defined. His supporters enable him. The instances are to numerous to type at this point but they don’t have to be. He tells Congress no cooperation in an impeachment, ZERO, his troops say, do it, we back you." The enabling is a relentless list of items like tha
It’s from the Republicans for the Rule of Law. Just Trump’s own words.Looks like a gig selling tires
Well, @7_Sorrows, you can see that a Trump must be evaluated independent of what others did. Otherwise, a double standard cannot be maintained.7_Sorrows:

Hmm, that makes him a politician with an eye on reelection. Obama did the same. So did “W”, and Clinton. FDR did it 3 times.Trump has never stopped campaigning since 2016.
Good for them. Their unwillingness to back the 3 year soft coup attempt is to be commended as loyalty to the constitution and opposition to the in-American “resist” movement. He tells Congress no cooperation in an impeachment, ZERO, his troops say, do it, we back you."
What Trump did is different. Vastly.Obama did the same. So did “W”, and Clinton. FDR did it 3 times.
So? He knew what he wanted and was hoping to have 8 years to work forJonNC:

Donald Trump began his reelection campaign unusually early for an incumbent president. He began spending his reelection effort within weeks of his election and officially filed his campaign with the Federal Election Commission on the day of his inauguration

The discussion was whether he did, or did not do do something out of the ordinary in his campaigning for re-election. The evidence, against denial, is that he did.
And my question is still…so?7_Sorrows:

To me, the truth matters. And my question is still…so?
I am glad that you acknowledge that what he did in his re-election efforts is different than all other Presidents. Hard to see why, if it so virtuous it takes so much for it even to be acknowledged. In fact, there’s a level of honesty here, not shared by previous presidents
Yes, it is different. It is honest with the American people. That’s refreshing.I am glad that you acknowledge that what he did in his re-election efforts is different than all other Presidents
But since it is Trump, it is easy to see why some reject would reject the virtue of it.Hard to see why, if it so virtuous it takes so much for it even to be acknowledged.
Thank you.Yes, it is different
More curious was the reluctance to own it.But since it is Trump, it is easy to see why some reject would reject the virtue of it.
