I disagree. Campaign spectacles in the first and second year of a presidential term is unheard of

Well, @7_Sorrows, you can see that a Trump must be evaluated independent of what others did. Otherwise, a double standard cannot be maintained.

Good for them. Their unwillingness to back the 3 year soft coup attempt is to be commended as loyalty to the constitution and opposition to the in-American “resist” movement.

Is there anything illegal or impeachable about this? In fact, there’s a level of honesty here, not shared by previous presidents. They were doing the same thing just unofficially

I am glad that you acknowledge that what he did in his re-election efforts is different than all other Presidents. Hard to see why, if it so virtuous it takes so much for it even to be acknowledged.

But since it is Trump, it is easy to see why some reject would reject the virtue of it.
 
None of those president’s held televised campaign rallys in their first and second year. None.
